I have my Twitter account tied to my Raptr account so it lets friends who are following me know which games I'm playing. So far, I've only gotten comments on games I've played and on achievements I've gotten, and no ones actually gotten online to play with me I also have it tied to one of my Youtube accounts so everytime I make a new video it's posted on twitter as well.

I don't tweet because I think I'm interesting, nor do I really care about what others tweet about. If one of the people I'm following is doing something I like to do, then I'll send a tweet his way. I remember I made a friend on XBox Live because we both liked Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and wanted to play online.

As was mentioned before, it's great for networking!

I think it's quite fun. Also, calling people who use it "simpletons" is kinda unwarranted. Famous people use it. P!nk uses it like every hour, with three tweets at a time.

I got Myspace when I was in college to keep in touch with friends and now don't really use it. My girl got me to to join Facebook which I use often but for some reason don't see the appeal of twitter. This site and Facebook are what I check daily and now that I'm playing fantasy football, don't have time for anything else.

Personally, I've never been into any of this social networking stuff. I'd much rather just talk to someone via MSN or AIM if I want to see whats going on with their lives. I guess it could be easier for folks who are more adept with cellphones to use it on the go, but thats not really my bag

Same here. I actually made a Twitter account a few days ago after CR29 brought it up, mostly to follow my fav celebs. Unfortunatly, quite a few of them are just fans pretending to be the actors. The only ones I know are real that I'm following is Dana White and Joe Rogan lol.

Like I said, I don't tweet for the sake of wanting people to read about my life. I go on the site to see what people are saying. Famous people. People who I like. Nick Swisher, outfielder on the Yankees. Kerry Rhodes, strong safety on the Jets. Hayley Williams, my future wife. That's where the appeal is.

If you like a celebrity or athlete, Twitter is the place to interface with them. That's why I like it.
