Actually, it's best used when goatse'ing millions and millions of people who were trying to see pics of the Iranian protests and Michael Jackson's death earlier this year. Also goatse'ing the band Hoobastank and that "Pimp my Ride" guy.

The funny thing about a lot of the Twitter hate in this thread is that the people saying it's not good seem obvlivious to the fact that Twitter is what you make it, and with the right "contacts" on there it can be a brilliant website.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that the whole thing with Iranian people and people trying to get info on Iran that saw Goatse instead were all fooled into thinking it was the band "Hoobastank" behind it all. Well it wasn't but it got so big, the lead singer had to actually make a statement on their website, http://www.hoobastank.com/. It was pure awesome.

Nope. I don't think so. I've talked to others in different schools, with the same web filters I have. They're not blocked there also.


Twitter is not a service that teenagers to seem to use. Why else has it not been blocked?

I tweet occasionally. It helps me keep up with my friends who don't have Facebook accounts. So it's nifty. Although, getting a tweet on my phone at 3AM kinda sucks...

I only randomly update my status with anything from my personal life, not enough of my friends have caught on yet so i mostly use it i think to talk about MMA with the guys at TweetMMA or a few others.
