So... the death of all deaths in the year 2009 seems to've also happened recently.

Turns out Kim Peek is dead (aka. the real Rain Man)

Hey, there's nothing wrong with 'Marky Mark' as you call him. He's turned into a mighty fine actor as of late. In The Departed, he completely stole every scebe he was in and gave the best performance in the movie, which is impressive considering who he had been cast alongside...!

Not to mention We Own The Night and Four Brothers also.

And Shooter. That was a sleeper hit.

Then again, he was in The Happening...

Nah, won't hold it against him. He's been in too many good movies. He's actually a really good actor.

What about Boogie Nights? Come on, that movie's a classic. Dirk Diggler is a legend.

Not to mention, 'Marky Mark' also brought us Entourage.

And Max Payne... wait it was a good one? I can't recall a good VG movie adaptation, but MP was decent if my memory serves me well...

So basically, we all just shit all over what Jagger had to say about Mark Wahlberg.

I liked Three Kings. Though the shit that was Max Payne counteracts that easily. Never cared for Entourage either.

Just fucking found out via Twitter that James Sullivan, a.k.a. The Rev, the drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold was found dead in his home today. He was only 28 years old. Right now, it's being said that he passed due to natural causes...

This fucking sucks. A7X is one of my favorite bands in recent memory, and The Rev was hands down one of the sickest drummers I've ever seen and heard. I dunno what the future holds for A7X at this point, but my thoughts and prayers are with his family and the band. RIP Rev.

Never really liked Avenged Sevenfold but it's always sad when someone dies.

Not sure if it was mentioned yet, but i only just discovered that Dan O'Bannon, writer of the original screenplay for Alien, died on December 19th.

He and John Carpenter made Dark Star IIRC, which they described as "Waiting for Godot in space." I really would love to see that flick, I can't find it.
