        Heh heh. Indeed.

Matter of fact, I'll check out some of its music. Some anime's have REALLY great stuff (i.e. Paranoia Agent, in which I got the soundtrack for).

As do I. Very vague nonetheless, though. I was probably under 10 years old, and I remember watching the first episode only.

        It kicked butt also.

Anyone remember .hack//Sign? That came on too. It was also good.

.hack is something that represents the cutoff for me. Right around the time the games and anime came out, I had left video games and manga/anime. lol

Either way I've seen a lot of Naruto and some of Bleach...not bad. They don't have the psychological substance potential of nostalgia, though.

I can think of only 3 reasons why you would do this:

              1. Work.
              2. Nagging girlfriend.
              3. School.

In which 2 is the only excuse not worth using. But it's okay, I understand.

I hardly have time for those things now that I'm in a high school with a rigorous workload.

Ive never seen Naruto but Bleach is pretty good although it doesnt break the mould. It reminds me a lot of shows like Dragon Ball Z which are fun to watch but they dont have as much depth or emotion as shows like CG, Ghost in the Shell, Death Note etc. Thats not to say that they are with out emotion as the Bleach Movie Memories of Nobody is really quite sad and has a good amount of depth and emotion

                  Jesus H Christ.

5 pages of anime chatting and I'm the first to drop the immortal words - Stand Alone Complex?! The Ghost In The Shell TV series that single handedly annihilated every aspect of manga/anime competition because the bar was raised so highly (for me) that nothing can and will never be able to achieve.

Here, as a taster you can have one of the greatest moments from season 2.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Berserk. It's story is COMPLETELY original (you might say that TODAY there's a lot of animes/mangas somewhat like it, but it predates most, if not all of them), it's art is impressive and the execution is goddamn near flawless.

I usually hate anime, manga, and most of the stuff japan throws at the rest of the world, but I love Berserk. The anime isn't much tho, it's just a sneak peak to the manga if you ask me.

Well, I just finished watching the first Season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I love this goddamn anime. I can't really explain why I love it because when Gradon asked I just came out with a stream of YESes and an I LOVE THIS ANIME. Maybe when I come off the major high I got from watching it I'll explain. But yeah, I love it and can't wait to watch the second Season.

Just finished watching Elfen Lied. Automatically now one of my favourites. The dub is pretty good in most cases and I rather like the dialogue. The story and characters were pretty well-done too, Bando was hardcore and I rather liked Lucy and especially Nana. The ultra-violence was handled alright I think, helps add to the underlying themes the anime attempts to push. That and it's entertaining having someone be decapitated mid-speech.

I think the first 10 minutes of the first episode are definitely the most shocking. Lucy manages to kill 23 people in various bloody and gory ways in about 5 minutes and the rest is taken up with complete nudity. One scene in particular with Lucy and Nana particularly shocked me to say the least. I don't think I was as shocked as that until the three-part episodes surrounding the pasts of Lucy, Khota and Kurama. Those were by far my favourites, and carried quite a fair amount of tragedy in them.

I'm aware of how the manga is very different from the anime's last two episodes, but I quite liked how they handled it (the manga was still going on by episode 13) and the ending was pretty nice. But damn do I hate cliffhangers. The manga ended on one too I believe.

Elfen Lied is the most shocking anime i have ever seen adn there for one of my faveourites.

Neways i just finished watching CLaymore and i have to say this was an instant top ten for me it was amazingly good, lots of gore, lots of emotion (with a bit of cheese frown in but i love that lol) and a decent enough story with great characters

The Berserk anime is pretty damn good, but I definitely agree with the 'sneak peak to the manga' argument. It only covers a fraction of the series and isn't nearly as beautifully drawn as the original manga. The only problem is that Kentarō Miura is so slow with getting it out!

Serial Experiments Lain, School rumble, Ouran host club, or either of the Onegai/Please series. I can't decide which one I like more.

I would have said Haruhi, but the anime isn't as good as the whole world it's made. (I don't know how to describe what I mean. The anime's great, but the fandom behind it's better, for example, Kyonko)

Or I would have said Excel Eaga, but the manga makes the anime look like C-Span (the government channel)
