Anyone up for going through the entire series again before the final season starts in late Jan/ early Feb? I figure if we start on September 1st, and watch one episode a day/night, we can have the series finished by December 12th. I'll be trying to lure Ice into the series. Hes made a pact with me that if he doesn't like it by the end of season 1, he won't continue watching it. So, anyone up for it?

Almost all seasons are up on Hulu for free streaming. So it shouldn't be too difficult to watch one a night if you are in the US.

    THIA List guide:

I'll probably watch this when they are all out on DVD, so I can watch half a season every day. I've never seen even one full episode before, but I think this show will fit my taste pretty well.

I'm not going to fall into the "Battlestar Galactica trap". I bought everything except the final season which would be out a little over a month later. I figured I had enough to watch until then. But the series was 10 times better than expected, so I finished it in a few days, and had to wait a month for the end.

Same here with BSG Anders. I finished the whole series in like 4 days. I did nothing for those four days except watch the show, lol. Thankfully, I had just quit my job and was in the process of moving up to NY, so it was..somewhat alright.

I'm watching LOST with some friends, I already saw the five seasons, but now we are watching it again, one of them saw all seasons, but the other two haven't, I like LOST A LOST, so I have no problem in watching it all againe. We are on the third season now, we watch one or two episodes a week (because we watch them together and our timngs aren't ok), SOMETIMES three. I think we'll finish with the fantastic season 5 before the last season (6), but that's ok, we can wait a bit... and if we don't finish by then... I'll just have to watch it withough them, hahaahaha

I'd really like to do this, i watched Lost religiously when it began, but missed a huge chunk of season three i think it was which will no doubt cripple me slightly in my quest to understand quite what's going on. The last season though was incredible TV, a huge relief when compared to the complete let down of Prison Break.

Yeah, will try and give this a shot i think!

Lost is my fav t.v show from the u.s, I've only missed the first ep, which I soon caught up with. Over in the uk we had season 1-2 for
free, until it went over to sky 1, since them I've been viewing the episodes on the
net, but the advantage is that I get to see them 3 days before the uk does, so that's handy.
I'd be sad to let it go next year, I think the last two episodes of season 5 has set the
last season up for one hell of an ending. If it's just a dream then I'd be very annoyed, I want some messed up ending that would make you think about it for months afterwards.
I can't agree to watching a episode a night, I think I'd watch the whole season in two days, because it's so good lol

                  SEPTEMBER 1st 2009

                  LOST - Season 1 - Episode 01
                  PILOT PART 1

Ok, first episode should be watched by now (by most of you). We're starting it in a couple minutes when Paul gets off work I'll skip posting a synopsis here incase we have some folks who are watching for the first time. Please spoiler tag your spoilers for episodes that we haven't all watched yet (so spoiler anything past Episode 1 of Season 1). Thanks guys!

A spoiler for anyone who hasn't watched further?

                    Spoiler:

Paul status: Thus far "I'm not impressed". He dislikes it because he expects the show to be realistic, and thus far it isn't. But he loves X-Files, so yeah, figure that out. lol.

I gotta say though, having watched the show for the first time a month or so ago, they really didn't seem to have a gameplan during Season 1. A lot of the common show themes and story pieces didn't get introduced until Season 2, and to be honest, the show kind of went down hill from then onward imo.

Oh, come on, how is that Hulu is a US only site? =/. Gotta find the dvd's on my stuff then, I'm kinda lazy.

I haven't been able to update with the two (three now ) episodes due to some issues a friend is having. I'll be adding them in today sometime in the evening when I get out of work. We have watched both episodes though, and plan on watching Walkabout tonight.

Pauls starting to come around to the series .
