Chapter Four is the song that got me into A7X. Speaking of which, I wonder what their plans are after The Rev's death...
Anyway, I've been listening to this song quite a bit today:
Not usually into instrumentals, but there's something inspirational and brilliant about this song.

Imogen Heap's 'band' introduction: Speak For Yourself tour era, Imogen Heap- I always found the introductions awesome, from her parrot, to her Array Mbira, to her monome, to her piano, and then to her vocoder, and dear God, her vocoder introduction is so damn awesome! "This is my choir in a box [sometimes it's pocket choir, lol], and I'm singing into the microphone, and I'm plaaaaaaying a HHHAAARRRMMMOONNNNNNYYYYYY!!!" Then, every now and then, she'd have actual people with her. lol. Though, I'm glad she had a band with her in her Ellipse tour, probably made it much easier for her.
God DAMN I wan an Array Mbira so bad right now. Too bad that shit costs $2-fucking-k for a five-octave! asdfghjklLast edited by Ray; 01-24-2010, 12:15 AM.

Speeding Cars, Imogen Heap- Nice song, not her best, but still lovely. I just don't get why this song is so famous. Probably The O.C. Damn it, how come nobody was ever introduced to her via iMegaphone or Frou Frou (although I know it's more Frou Frou than iMeg)?
Goodnight and Go (live, 12.3.06, San Francisco), Imogen Heap- I think this is my all time favorite live version (other than the FearLess live one). I mean, Kid Beyond's vocal percussions, the drums (I think? maybe it's still Kid Beyond), Levi Weaver on guitar (I think), Rob Jost's ContraBass, Jez Wiles and all his... stuff, the vocoder, the piano, and oh God the Mbira. Hell. Yes. It was EPIC.Last edited by Ray; 01-24-2010, 01:41 AM.
