Hey, you didn't add me to the list of those interested Obviously MoS isn't here (right now anyway) so if you want him in when you start it up, let me know and I'll drop him a line.

Yeah I think it should be something related to Biohazard/Resident Evil...
I could play some CoD: WaW, Gears 2 or Left 4 Dead...
Obviously I would be on the THIA side... I'm a veteran, check my join date (2005! WTF!!!) LOL.

Pretty much the same here...How did that go again? "Trey fo' life!!!" Of course I'm fairly limited in my library for the "trey" as well. This hasn't been the best year for me. About the only thing I could do is RE5, unless Burnout Paradise is on the menu.
edit: oh yea I have cod too derr. INORITELast edited by Agent_Wong; 09-13-2009, 10:15 PM.

It would be a good idea to set teams by console too? I don't have a PS3... Yet.Last edited by Beanovsky Durst; 09-14-2009, 02:58 AM.

So, i'm happy with the amount of interest shown so far, so i'm going to press ahead with things this week. Going to start up a website this week, this'll be used as a central "hub" for the matchmaking and discussions. The site will come with all the usual connectivity such as RSS feeds, messageboard (accessible via invite only, which'll be sent to those who express an interest), Twitter feed etc.
Only thing i need help with is the name haha! If anyone wants to come up with a suggestion, then feel free to let me know!
You can start with an open/closed subforum on THIA once a couple of first games prove successful. Start with something small. 4 vs 4 and 5 vs 5 games are very easy to organize, anything bigger, and you will have problems.
Set up 3 or so games first, get a taste for it. See if it works out. Write an article about the event, posts scores and screens so the community would pick up on it and find something to "be proud" about.
After a first few games, see if you need some space to coordinate future events. Talk with THIAs administratorship, show them the results, get a subforum. Whether or not it has to be closed depends on whether or not youll be discussing strats and tactics on the forum. Getting your own website and setting up a hub is way too much work and will distract you from your "early game goal", which is setting up games and making it into a tradition and/or something frequent. Maybe an open forum category where people from other websites can contact you and discuss crap with you and a closed subforum in that category for tactics, strats and administrative stuff.
Remember- KISS method. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
Early game- set up games, have fun, see if it works
Midgame- if it grows bigger, make it some room. If it stays relatively small, improve its quality
Things like these have great potential, but usually go down because of the initiators inactivity, or getting way too big, way too early.
Anyhow. Im representing the PC gaming front and I can help with ideas and with some experience.

Ok here goes!
Everything's very simple on there right now, i want to spend a little time seeing if it takes off or not, and from then on i'll start beefing the whole site up!
Enjoy, and thanks for the interest!
