Vegetarian here. Eating my yummy Tofurky soon. Though, I just got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, so it might hurt to eat some of my mom's cooking. Looking forward to the mashed potatoes, though!

          Anyway~ Happy Thanksgiving, guys!

Why does it seem like all 20 something liberal girls are vegetarians Also...I don't understand...it tastes and has the same mouth-feel as turkey, yes? Yet you won't eat...actual turkey?

Wait... what? Who said anything about being "liberal"?

In any case, most of my immediate family is vegetarian. It's something I was pretty much raised on since I was in my early teens.

Also, it's been almost a decade since I've tasted meat (and turkey), so whether Tofurky actually tastes like it is up for debate. From what I can recall, no, I personally don't think it does. But... there are a jillion different brands, not to mention some people choose to make their own from scratch. Secondly, I'm not one of those vegetarians who thinks the entire world should be the same, and I honestly couldn't care less about other people eating meat, but I don't think it's a fair analogy to compare the "texture" of two foods when it clearly boils down to the fact one is meat and the other is not.

Anyway... I'm not trying to jump down your throat about anything, but I just wanted to clarify that.

And to not derail this topic into a vegetarian piss contest, uh... Hope everyone had some delicious food this past Thanksgiving.

For whatever reason, the stuffing this year at Thanksgiving dinner was out-of-this-fuckin'-world. I miss it.

LOL that damn Ted, I watched a episode of " spirit of the wild" where he literally sat in a huge tree house that looked nicer than my real house, drinking coffee until a deer came along lol. Anyways, I'm not much of a turkey eater, I'm a fixin's man myself. Mashed taters, stuffing, etc. There was some mac and cheese this year that was divine. It was baked with a crust made from cheese nips. My cholesterol is rising just thinking about it
