What's worrying is though, technically, I'm a teenage girl/woman. I'm nine*teen* and although I'm going on 20, technically I'm still a female with a teen at the end of my name. I don't scream over this film, I find it tacky, corny and I don't find vampire love stories interesting in the slightest. When I watch a vampire film, I want to see them ripping people to bits. I went into Forbidden Planet the other day for the first time since their re-furb (they used to have really good stuff, like comics/game action figures) and the entire bottom floor of the shop was dedicated to Twilight. It was a case of:

I have a very love/hate relationship with the Saga.

One the one hand, I love the story and the characters and the romance that I shouldn't love because I don't have ovaries.

And on the other hand I hate it because I hate the rabid fans and Breaking Dawn is the biggest piece of shit I have ever layed my eyes on. And I've seen Shark Attack 3.

But I do love it. The Saga does lose quality as it goes along, with the first book being the best and Breaking Dawn earning Stephanie Meyer a place in hell but there's just something about it that I love.

And I love the films. Twilight was pretty damn good and I thought New Moon was amazing. I can't wait for the Eclipse film.

But hey, I'm no rabid Twilight fanboy. I think all the rabid fans are disgusting. They truly annoy the shit out of me and are one of the reasons why the whole thing is ridiculed, because these fans are obsessed. It's a little scary. And amazingly annoying. I don't want to be associated with those people just because I like the books.

I love Twilight cause it's awesome in my opinion, I love the music as a matter of fact before I saw twilight I never wanted to play piano but now Im taking lessons all because I saw edward playing Bella's Lullaby to Bella in the movie. I don't care much for the romance in the film but I don't think its based on pure lust, and its not an abusive relationship either.

One of many things wrong with the last book.

It's incredibly facepalmy because in an earlier book one of the characters say that Vampires are fueled by the venom if their bodies and nothing else....

I think Stephenie Meyer tried to handwave it but it's ridiculous. Beyond the first part, the last book reads like fanfiction.

Ok, I've seen the movie New Moon last night (my friend forced me to go see it with her >_>) and I will admit, it wasn't bad. Sure, it was no way in hell good, but not as bad as I thought it would be, like the first movie was.
Although, the scary fan girls in the theater ruined it, my lord, everytime a guy had his shirt off, the whole theater screamed :|. Jesus people calm down!
