Looking back at the '00-'09 decade AKA Happy New Year!!!

If you wanna have something that another one have got, just make him an enemy and you´ve got the right for fighting him. For example the senseless war between USA and Afghanistan. Fighting terrorism? Hahaha. The US Army are the real terrorist. A democracy in afghanistan? No, just oil.
Sorry for saying that, but this shit was a big theme in the last decade... so it´s my opinion.

I just finished enjoying the festivities with family and other relatives...we shot fireworks
and everything. It's 4 am here.

Totally with you there. 2009 was without question the worst year of my life (for a whole string of reasons I won't go into here). Here's hoping that 2010 is great. Happy new year all.

Have to agree with SelfishGene, 2009 is by far one of the worst years for myself, both numerous on a few personal things (with a few highlights however) and I am wishing this year to change all that with a start of a new positive outcome as it goes by. Also there wasn't as many games compared to 2010 that I am looking forward too, it's going to be all good.

Well, i can't really complain about 2009. It was a good year. It's probably the most creative i've ever been, because i managed to write about 18/19 songs for my album that i've been working on since May. It's pretty amazing what can happen when left to your own devices like that.

Besides the album, not a great deal has happened. It's been a pretty quiet year. I've worked, saved a lot of money, spent said money on a new gaming PC and my first holiday abroad in 9 years (Went to visit Los Angeles), got together with an old friend while on holiday, fell in love with both her and the city and decided to move there for the majority of 2010 to live and work. Who knows what will happen? It's gonna be an adventure!

Most of my life was lived through this decade (bar 4 years), and it wasn't all that great, either. My hopes for 2010 (and the new decade altogether) are rather high, and I'd hate to be disappointed. Shit better get better.

yeah, the new decade doesn't officially started until 2011, but nonetheless, i just got Windows 7 Ultimate full retail for $291, so i can't wait to reformat my HDD and install it on my new rig. i'll finally have this baby booted up and all i'll need are my graphic cards, woot.

but as for this whole generation. its nothing but shit, after shit, after shit for me. this generation of video game consoles, has to be the worse ever done. i'm ashamed at where the generation is where its being taken, but what can anyone do, we can go backwards, only fowards. also, its sad how many games have more than the standard edition to them. i remember when only a handful of games ever had them, but it seemed like the started of 2005 is when they started to happen to an extent.

yesterday was the first time in over a year that i bought a blu-ray movie, that's how important blu-ray is for me, movie wise. hell, i probably take advantage more of my phone's capabilities than what all my consoles do. i still watch reguar dvds alot. so anyone who takes advantage all the high def capabilities have alot going for them, but for someone like me who just doesn't give a shit that much by it, is more than likely to shrug it off.

in the last few years, my music buying has decreased dramatically. the artists that i liked alot, release new albums that sound like shit. like, Eminem's new album, Lacuna Coil, Marilyn Manson, ect ect. i'm having to go backwards in time to find older artists that sound better to me than what i hear now.

i have to say that the PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast and the Gamecube where such a better generation of gaming compared to today. i missed the old days.
