  • Musical Equipment( Musicians post )

For musicians to share and comment on musical equipment! Should start by naming mine lol

    Dean Razorback 7 255 7-String
    Ibanez S5470 Prestige
    Ibanez XPT700 Xiphos
    Squier Obey
    Research Synyster Custom
Yamaha Tour Custom 9-Piece Double Bass ( Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Double Pedal ) ( got the pedals for 400 lol )
    Yamaha PSR-E323 Keyboard
ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon Wah Pedal
    TimeFactor Twin Delay Pedal
    Dean Edge 5 5-String bass
I'm the lead guitar in a thrash/screamo band so ya

I'll say the Demon Drive totally fucks the iron cobra in the ass.
I've been playing guitar for...about..5-6 years...bass for 3, drums for 3 piano my whole life.

^ Ooooh, you actually went into specifics on what kind of instruments they are? Hot damn. I know several instruments:

Piano (currently learning by ear, will eventually learn notes)
KeyTar (pretty much the same as a piano, but on a... -tar placement... hahaha)
Vocoder (same as a piano, and a KeyTar, as its keys are the same, lol)
Cello ( a lil' bit, by ear)
    Double Bass/ContraBass (by ear, too)
Array Mbira (played many times at a store I used to frequently visit, never bought one though, a 5-octave costs $2k!)
Guitar (just a little bit, too by ear)
Various Improvised Percussions (don't know if it counts, but things like hard surfaces, soft surfaces, hell, even my own body)
Recorder (have one, used to play, eventually forgot how, but still know a little bit)

I only know how to play the guitar xD

I haven't played it long during my high school days though I am trying to learn once again and this time to get good at it.

Since my main job is music-related I guess I've got a lot of stuff

        - Yamaha MM6 Keyboard
        - Yamaha E303 Keyboard
        - Yamaha Pacifica 112 guitar
        - Sunsmile STL 185 guitar
        - Phil Pro Electroacoustic guitar
        - Marshall Bass State 65 amp
        - Digitech RP200A multieffect pedal
        - Behringer BCD3000 DJ controller
        - Behringer PMH660 powered mixer
        - My trusty Acer Laptop filled with all my audio software

And random mixers, headphones, speakers, lights and stuff that I can't really remember/type right now.

I'm no musician and you can tell as much by my equipment

          Breedlove 12-String
Epiphone G-400 DX (think a cheap Epi SG)
Line 6 Spider II I believe
          Yamaha Acoustic
          Knockoff Telecaster that doesn't work
          Casio electric piano
Odds and Ends (recorder, pennywhistle, A-key harmonica, maracas)
Kanai Lal & Sons CCGCGCF Sitar

I haven't been into music for the past couple of months in comparison to what it used to be. Playing my guitar was more of a habit than a hobby, and I think I deluded myself that I was going to write songs. While that's still on the table, I'm not ready.

I have a cheap Conn Trombone. Only thing I need ;P Well, only one I own myself. Been playing music for 13 years now, all lower brass instruments.
