Well most people who have seen the movie have cited as Kirby (Hayden) and Robbie as their favorites of the new comers. Take that how you will.

Just saw it, and I have to say it clearly blows Scream 1 through 3 out of the water. The kills are brutal, and Spoiler:
          .

          Here's a quote
"Lier you're not in here!" "I never said I was in your closet"
          Epic stuff right there!

I can't say much without giving the whole plot of the movie away so um yeah see it yourself. Oh and I got a poster signed with Nev Campbells autograph!

Just saw this in Taiwan (April 15th premiere date). As a life long fanatic of the Scream movies (hence the name - I was there when people were trying to find the third killer in Scream 1 and other Screamathons) I have to say this is an awesome spiritual sequel which only Wes Craven could deliver.

It captured the actual "summer feeling" behind the killings magnificently, and mixed a bit of a humor without killing the overall tension. Superb stuff! It took him about ten years to document the effect the original Scream movie had on people, but it was well worth it - I can see a lot of unfortunate *real* news reports, plot lines from Scream 1 and 2, and more, all in this one movie. Well worth the watch!

I found this hilarious post on imdb for no apparent reason - no spoilers don't worry.

So I went to see Scream 4 last night, and my theater experience was awful. There was this guy who through out the whole movie kept screaming really annoying things. He even threw a pen at the screen once. Keep in mind that the theater was packed. There were around 400-450 people. Yet no one was doing anything to stop the guy. So about half way through the film, I stood up, turned to him and said "Hey ass hole, mind keeping it down so we can enjoy the movie?"

Everyone in the theater cheered, but then things got bad. The guy got pissed, so he got out of his seat, came down to my row, grabbed me by the shirt and threw me down the theater steps. The worst part was that everyone started laughing....at me. He just threw me down a huge flight of steps and everyone was laughing. He then ran down the steps, made me stand up straight, and then he pulled my pants down. At this point there were tears gushing down my face. I told him "Please stop, I just wanted to watch the movie", but then he started punching me in the stomach. The whole audience wasn't even watching the movie anymore, they were watching this guy beat the crap out of me. One person even yelled "Yeah beat that fag's ass!". Everyone was laughing and cheering this guy on.

The guy then told me to give him my wallet and keys. I did so. He asked me what car I had and where I parked. I told him. He asked me my address. I told him. He then told me to walk all the way home with my pants down, and that he would return my car tomorrow morning.

As I started waddling out of the theater with my pants down I cried to myself "Why god why? How could you let this happen to me!". So I walked all the way home with my pants down. Then this morning I went outside and my car was in my driveway as promised. My wallet was in the car and so were the keys. There was a note on the windshield that said "Dear loser, don't ever try to stand up for yourself again. You will always be a loser. You will never win. LOSER".

You'll find some of weirdest posts on IMDB.

Anyway I saw Scream 4 yesterday and really enjoyed it, the film is like a love letter to the fans of the previous films. I have only one complain.

Yep it was awesome. I was worried it was going to be too serious like the god awful Scream 3 but there was a lot of good comedy in there.. I know some people won't like that, but I thought it was done well. Not sure how this will start the new trilogy but I trust Wes will come up with something kick ass if he continues to be as inventive as he is here.

So I saw it today, and I loved it. It had all those great "Scream" qualities to it. A lot of the new cast was pretty bland however.

The only thing I really had a problem with was....

All though I really wish they didn't

I hope when the DVD/BluRay comes out they don't leave the DVD bare-bones and have all the bonus stuff exclusive to BR as seems to be the trend now. Some people are still happy with DVD's you know and i refuse to buy anything that's deliberately cut down. I had hoped with the recent re-releases of the original trilogy that they would finally release the uncut version of the first movie properly but nope
