I hope when the DVD/BluRay comes out they don't leave the DVD bare-bones and have all the bonus stuff exclusive to BR as seems to be the trend now. Some people are still happy with DVD's you know and i refuse to buy anything that's deliberately cut down. I had hoped with the recent re-releases of the original trilogy that they would finally release the uncut version of the first movie properly but nope

I have the trilogy box set and it contains all of the films uncut, with all the blood and gore yummmmm!

Nope, first movie is cut in all editions except a special Laserdisc release, Japanese DVD and a German DVD as well, all current Blu-Ray editions are cut. You can see a list of what was cut HERE. It's not a lot but still there's no excuse for them to continue re-releasing the cut version in most regions, especially since this sorta stuff just wouldn't justify the NC-17 certificate nowadays (which is why it was cut originally). Shows you how much has changed since the first was released. Luckily i have a copy of the Japanese DVD so i've seen the uncut one

I don't remember that scene - though it could possibly be because I was drinking a great deal of whiskey and coke at the time. I'm guessing it was cut, I can't remember the flow of things exactly but doesn't Dewey get a call from someone saying its a bloodbath or something. I guess that's where it would go..

And yeah the good thing about cinemas in Taiwan are that your allowed to bring in outside food and drink. Next time I'm gonna take my portable gas cooker and cook up a steak right there and then just to see what they do (probably nothing haha).

I dont want to bring a downer to this thread because it seems everyone enjoyed it so far. But I thought it was a bad movie. They get worse and worse everytime. The opening and ending were fucking rubbish!! Wtf at the opening my head was spinning after the intro and it took me about 15 minutes to forget about it and actually get into the film. I hated the Jill character wish she wasnt in the film. I thought the killer was piss poor choice. Even if it wasnt who turned out to be the killer I couldnt have personally picked a single person out of the movie who I would have been ok with. Im a big fan of the first 2 movies and I have the 3rd one as well but there is no way in hell I am paying out money for this even when it hits the bargain bin. Oh and the ending can anyone say Black Christmas. For a franchise that recreated the slasher genre I thought this was the most unoriginal film I'd seen in a long time. If I had to score it I wouldnt even give it a 0, this one would be in the minus.

argh crimson, i understand you have your own opinion of scream 4 but its not needed because it isn't a good opinion and anyways you must be punished by being gutted and hung from a football post for saying that you faggot. .....I kidd, I kidd its too bad you didn't like it, I recommend purchasing the uncut edition of the dvd. About 30 or so minutes of cut footage put back in and 2 or 3 of the original scenes also put back in among them the original opening and parking garage scenes
