I'm not defending Zanetti though, he overacted to Zidane's provocation like an idiot insultin his sister, but just because someone insults your mom or your sister your're not allowed to head but him in the chest and then turn back acting like nothing ever happened.
They were playing competitive soccer in front of millions and millions of people, a veteran professional player such as Zidane should have been able to control himself.
A glorious career ended with a red card for head-butting another player during a World Cup final... souds so dumb, such a shame, really. Zidane was one of my fav Juventus player of all time, after Platini obviously. =D

France realized a long time ago that Domenech was not the right man, but the federation doesn't want to let him go and you know why? Just because he knows people and because it would have cost too much money to fire him after Euro 2008. The French federation is a fucking disgrace, that's all.

Actually, the final beating the Germans got was from the Russians. England and the allied forces had stopped their advance to Berlin and basically agreed to let the Russians have their way with Hitler's forces... it was sweet revenge for them.

Anywhoo, the cup is getting exciting (finally) with some major "battles" coming up.
