I first saw this on Kotaku, but IGN, has just a little more details on what happened:
An alleged dispute over a seat at San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H led to an altercation, as two attendees clashed and one was stabbed in the eye with a pen, witnesses reported.
The victim of the attack was taken out on a stretcher, while the assault suspect was escorted away by security officials while show attendees booed. San Diego later detained the suspect, whose free swag T-shirt was stained with blood
According to USA Today, San Diego Police Sgt. Gary Mondesir said, "Two males got into a dispute and one male stabbed the other male with a pen around the eye socket. Paramedics arrived almost immediately and took the victim to the University of California/San Diego hospital. The suspect was taken away."
The incident occurred between panels and delayed show proceedings by 30 minutes."
