I'm just happy buying what I want for christmas myself, but it is always a nice feeling that your friends, family, and others still get out of their way to do so Myself I love the spirit of giving presents to others. You should of seen my nephew's face to see his birthday/christmas present (his birthday is in November so I decided to get something special for the two, but mainly for passing his 11 plus with flying colours) being an XBOX 360 with many games and accesories. I'm also taking him to see Tron at the pictures in two weeks, with just me and him. This to me is what I love about christmas.

I'm sure you guys will love Tron, looks like an awesome movie especially in 3-d lol."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

We need a new house phone! Ours is still a wired one and it has horrible static when you talk to someone. I would LOVE a wireless phone, I miss having one so much!
On top of that, my mum just spent like $200 on a real fancy shmancy cutlery set. It has everything, and came in a really nice wooden briefcase type-thing. When I unwrapped it thought it was a briefcase full of money lol. I can dream right?
Other than that, I just want to have a great Christmas day with family and make the most of it for my partner's little one. His mother is quite slack and doesn't even have an Xmas tree up or anything, and she gets him for Xmas morning so we can't do anything with him until after lunch.

I know what I'll get for this Xmas:
Resident Evil 2, 3 and Survivor for PSX. They're pretty rare and difficult to find (plus expensive as fuck) where I live so I'll import them, I managed to get a fair price for them and they'll make a nice addition to my collection (not as impressive as some folks' collections around here but it's my personal joy )Last edited by Beanovsky Durst; 12-21-2010, 05:34 AM.

Well since im a poor Uni student who can barely sfford new trainers, I cant wait for xmas! Im mainly getting DVD's though and the only game i actualy fancy at the moment is COD Black Ops. I cant wait to get Dexter season 2, only just got into that show.
Personally I love xmas, most people I know just seem to be in a better mood, the Christmas Party's are also pretty damn good and I do love xmas dinner with the family (although sadly my aunt and uncle can't make it this year) and the tree presents (random small presents) that come after.

I was so ready to put up my list, but then with all these things about Christmas sucking and material things being unimportant I was seriously turned off from listing anything.
Though yes, above all, family is by far the most important. Absolutely. There is nothing better than going to my grandparents' on my dad's side the night before, having dinner with about a total of 10 or 12 people (I only have two cousins there) and relaxing. Then going home and waking up to open some presents when they come over, and after that, going to my grandparents' on my mom's side. Holy. Shit.
Easily always like, 35+ people (I have 15 cousins on that side ). It's so hectic, so fun, and I can never forget it. The living room is literally flooded with presents. Now my grandparents are by no means rich, so it's not like we're getting Rolex watches, but that's not important. The important thing to them is that everybody at least gets something and is happy. And I always am happy at that house.
