I have found three videos by this one YouTube user regarding the truth behind this cult of anti-LGBT brainwashed people. I have watched all three of them, and I think it contains some pretty good info.

I may not be a religious person, but I thought I just had to share this.

To tell you the truth I am pretty much half-expecting a religious debate of some sort to somehow happen for whatever reason on this thread. No matter what I may say to prevent this.

The truth about the Westboro Baptist Church, is that they LOVE attention. Any form of it. As much as they may say they didn't like the way they were portrayed in the last one, they will eat it up anyway. When people don't give them attention, they've been known to get bored and restless.

It just hurts me to see a clearly hateful agenda, especially when they picket funerals of fallen soldiers. These people make me sick.

Kinda sorta this. You'd have to be an idiot to not realize that the WBC is a bunch of inbred/'tight knit' family group of scumbags. The fact that they are lawyers means they have a better understanding of the law than most, and when someone tries to stop them from doing something (ie protesting), the family sues, gets money, and continues to go along their merry way. They love attention, as Vogue Dirge said.

tl;dr - This topic is like saying Hitler or Pol Pot were assholes. You may not know all the facts, but just a hint of reading and common sense should tip you off.

Only if people wheel out the stupid, either the 'All religious people are morons' or 'all secular people are assholes' arguments and the like. As I get older, I find I have less and less patience for seeing the same stupid over and over. Kinda like how when I was a kid, I could play the same game over and over, but these days I tend to take at least a year long break between playthroughs.

the video had no bibliography to back up what they are saying. youtube research is hardly research at all. having said that the wbc is a bunch of hate mongers, don't need more evidence to attest to that, kinda don't get this thread
