The only thing I'm worried about is the retaliation :/

Dirty son of a bitch is dead, we have the planner of 9/11 in custody just a few weeks away from a Military trial as well as various other AL Quaida members.

Here's to peace. Hopefully it didn't die 10 years ago.

This isn't about politics or ideologies...it's not about winning the war or losing it...it's not about your opinion on America...this is for all the people who died on September 11, 2001. This is for all of the armed forces and military stationed all over the globe, putting their lives on the line day in and day out.

This doesn't end the war. This doesn't even put a dent in it. But as an American, and as a New Yorker especially...this feels fucking good. Justice has been served. I think of my NYPD officer uncle who was awarded the Medal of Valor for his actions on that day, my other Army MP uncle who joined up after 9/11, my Marine cousin and my Army Lieutenant friend from high school. I've never cried so many tears of joy.

People outside of the US might not understand the true power of this day, but they should at least be able to appreciate that a mass murderer has been scrubbed from the face of the earth. This is about America but it's also about freedom and innocence worldwide.

                      We got him.

EDIT: To understand the magnitude of this announcement in New York, here's a look at a scene in Times Square:

NY Firefighters, some whom most likely lost friends/loved ones on 9/11, dancing in the streets.

                              I was 11 years-old, in French class, when I heard about 9/11.

I was 21 years-old, on Tumblr, when I heard about Osama's death. Specifically, through this 'shoop:

                              Hmm.
