Yea we *did* have the body. They took a DNA test with blood from his sister to confirm his identity, took a picture (which they are reluctant to release due to the grusesome depiction of a killshot above the left eye that blew off part of his skull), than wrapped his body in white cloth and buried him at sea. Shark food.
They say he "resisted", although I wouldn't doubt they blew him away in the heat of the moment and I can't really blame them. I would have preferred to have seen him taken into custody and put on trial for crimes against humanity>executed. I think that would have put a lot of people's mind at ease, seeing the whole process, rather than a headline simply stating, "Osama Bin Laden is dead".
