It's almost a sin to use the father(watered down as Nolan's Ra'z was) and not use the daughter. Seriously, there's not a better love interest/antagonist for the third film than her. There were rumors there were going to be dual love interest, with one other character playing more of a role. I hope that's going to be one of the *twist* to the film. Bane himself doesn't make much sense as the lone threat anyways. That, and Nolan has said this is about tying up his Batman in a nice neat bow. There's nothing better than to have Talia pick up where her father left off.

WTF were they thinking with that Catwoman movie? Anyway, my hope for this movie is that characters stay true to themselves and don't just have some bad guy with their name, like Joker in TDK. Just a random psycho and the jokerness missing.

Joker is a random psycho, this Joker is closer to the graphic novels than the comics...though more recently the comics have been closer to the graphic novel incarnations...

Regardless, Nolans was a darker more human version of the character who didnt quite have the same glee the comic version has, but he had more than enough presence in the film to match his counter part.

I'll admit I haven't been keeping updated with the latest news. Miranda Tate--a board member of Wayne Enterprises? Well, that's the perfect setup--especially for those that don't have a clue about Batman lore. She definitely looks like she fits the look of Talia. Certainly can't be a concedence.

But where has Catwoman been confirmed? I understand we have an actress playing "Selina Kyle". . .but I suppose if Talia is in there under a different credit. . .so could Catwoman. Honestly, the character's not much appealing to me. I suppose if anyone can make it appealing, Nolan can. Thing thing is, the romance story between Bats and Cats isn't really all that interesting compared to Bats and Talia. But Catwoman is more of a mainstream icon than Talia--but that shouldn't have anything to do with what's best for the story. Honestly, Catwoman seems more like an outdated relic of the golden age of comics as far as being Bats *girl*. That and, she's not really a physical challenge to Bats as far as martial arts skill goes. Though, the same is certain of Talia, but the difference being, Talia is no costumed heroine, but has the power of an entire organization behind her. That's simply more believable concept than lone criminal who decides to copy Batman's theatrical appearance.

I think we will see the beginnings of Catwoman. And honestly, she could work in Nolanverse Batman. If Batman can work, so can Catwoman. They just have to do some tweaking here and there, get creative as they have with everything else.

And Talia is too busy screwing Jason Todd to be Batman's woman.
