Obviously it's easy after the match to say no, but c'mon, no!
Barcelona are a truly special side, one that we might never see matched in our lifetimes. It's not just hype, these guys back it up.
Manchester United, not so much. As well as he did play, there had to be a question mark over Giggs' mental state, then you leave your season's top scorer out of the squad? The result was a foregone conclusion before the whistle had even blown.
¿POR QUÉ ¿POR QUÉ? Because we're the best, big MESSIAS, big Guardiola and monster FC Barcelona again.

Visça Barça i visça Catalunya!
Shut it.
I'm hoping Mourinho will kick your ass next season in La Liga.. Guardiola is still a n00b compared to him, we won't know how he will handle things in the long term..
Manchester was pitiful in the second-half as if they completely lost control of the game...Manchester was not the same team it was in the first-half.
It's like they all got high during the 15 min break.
I have always gone for Barcelona ever since I started watching european soccer leagues as child aside from the FIFA World Cup.
I would have liked that Manchester would have kept the pressure and the offensive onto the second-half but to no avail they failed to keep the game interesting and more one-sided in Barcelona's favor, unfortunately.
It was a disappointing final, in my opinion...but oh well.
United failed to keep the game interesting? Barcelona single handedly kept the game exciting ffs! How can you not be excited watching a performance like that? Manchester United tried, but they had absolutely no answer to the questions put in front of them.
If you can't appreciate the clinic that Barca put on last night you're watching the wrong sport. Seriously.

Liga: (3) 2009, 2010, 2011
Spain Supercup: (2+¿1?) 2009, 2010, ¿2011?
Copa del Rey (as your FA Cup): (1) 2009
Champions League: (2) 2009, 2011
European Supercup: (1+¿1?) 2009, ¿2011?
Mundialito Clubs: (1+¿1?) 2009, ¿2011?
Everything in 3 years, if he is a n00b, COME ON NOOBS SCHOOL!
PS: Blind those who don't see arrogance in people. That is to have very little style, and Mou's football has rather little. You said, kicking our ass 'again' like Pepe, maybe 1 red card more

If your definition of exciting is watching one team hopelessly beat another
team to a bloody pulp, especially on a final, then you and I don't share the
same definition of exciting.
I love Barcelona but it doesn't mean that I want the other team to lose by
any (selfish) means possible.
I guess I expected more from Manchester, especially with what they showed
they were capable of doing on the first-half, but the second-half was a joke.
If they would have been a joke the whole match I would have just
accepted it.
I was just expressing my opinion on the game, that's all.
I'm just a little dissapointed...for me a game to be exciting it takes two teams
to make it exciting not just one team and much more if it's a final where the
two top teams of the championship face, but like you said Manchester didn't
know how to answer to Barcelona.
Manchester was doing just fine on the first-half, but the second-half was just
atrocious.
The final was exciting for Barca fans sure, who wouldn't like to see their team run rings around Man U. But for neutrals it can be rather boring I agree..
Definition of a good game is something like Chelsea 4 Barcelona 2 (2005 Champions League 2nd leg), arguably the greatest game of football ever played in recent times (even Ronaldinho said it was one of the best games he ever played in!). That game was literally end to end with the finest players creating some fantastic chances/shots on goal.. Plus it had the whole pre-match build up where Rijkaard shat his pants in front of the press after that whole Frisk scenario Mourinho accused him of. Only Mourinho can set up such a perfect match..
Too bad I wasn't there though I did go to Chelsea 1 Barcelona 0 when Drogba scored though (Champions league group game), I remember winning big with the bookies that night (had a Chelsea double with Inter).
I agree with Kaneco. In the first half of the game, United seemed to have the upper hand actually - they were aggressive and had many opportunities. Barca scored the first goal, then Rooney counter scored and the game was exciting. Then the second half started and it all went to hell for United.

Funny, thought i was a neutral. If you're a neutral, you want to see good football played. Saturday night's game provided that.

I remember that 3-0 in 15 first minutes, so now Barcelona is a football over control, keep playing the tiki-taka but not as direct as those years, a risk that favored teams like Chelsea, who play on the counterattack. Barcelona learned the lesson of those years. Before they played carefree, not keep the ball a lot, they didn't have much control.
This is called "mature the football matches", and I think it's a success keep the scales balanced between beautiful-football and football-control, both by current Barcelona. There are many great matches in the football story, I think Chelsea hasn't history, only has money, so your words would have important if your club had international history.
PS: I admit, Chelsea has good teams since Abramovic arrival.
