But it's nice to know the staff reputation as total totalitarian evil doers who suppress all view points no there own is alive and well.

I love this place and in my opinion the staff here has been very patient and fair with members (a bit too patient, if anything). I admire that. I think the staff deserves recognition, they put up a lot with us members, but I also hope that the staff understands that members usually do what they do just because of the sake of argument/discussion - to realize the idea of the forums.

Well, I somewhat agree with Member_of_STARS. I wouldn't exaggerate and say that the forums would lose a significant group - only partial. Again I point out that some members here very often tend to "provoke" or create meaningless conflicts with other members, only due to the sake of creating a discussion. If this did not happen at all, this place would be rather dull. There are limits though, and members ought to respect each other - that is why we have the staff. If it were for me, I would perhaps enforce the rules a little more, because sometimes I feel that moderators are being too generous and overseeing things. Then again, they are human too, are they not (Greatbeard)?

A few friends of mine are furries, I enjoy hassling them about it a little here and there. We're all different in what we like so I'm not too hard on them.

I'm not a 'furry' person, but I do like a lot of anthropomorphic characters, especially the ones in Disney movies. I've always loved fox Robin Hood. Still my favorite version of the tale, haha.

Yeah, more power to folks like that, but they honestly make me weary. I've seen a fat guy going ballistic at his friends because they didn't believe he was really Vincent Valentine in another dimension or...something. Wow, I could imagine that must have been quite the spectacle. There are some oddballs out there which are normally the cause of the stereotypes you see in the media. Still it is one of the stranger beliefs ive heard of in a while. Although this is a society in which we get scientology and George Lucas unwittingly starts a religion of his own design (my personal faveourite is the religion of the flying spaghetti monster), so I guess its not really all that surprising.

No, I can't draw worth a shit. Neither of those were drawn by me, one was a friend and one was from a contest (the one with red shorts). There's a bunch of stuff actually.
