*Shrugs* Nobody is important really. xD Hate to be so cynical but I hate it when people want to be special snowflakes. No one is.

I haven't read anything about the new kid, so I have no idea how well they're writing him. But such is life.
That IS ironic. Cudos for not pandering, but yeah. Let's hope this kid walks in the steps of previous Marvel characters, personality before things like race. Spiderman in particular needs it after what Quesada put it through...

Everyone's special, therefore no one is.

One of these things is not like the other.
You know, if that is not DOWNRIGHT proof that every editorial mandate Quesada has forcefeed on Spider-Man since his editorial reign began, I don't know what is. The man has been on a personal crusade to *fix* Spider-Man, ruin X-Men(House of M--I'm looking at YOU!), and pump up the Avengers like it's the true iconic face of Marvel or something. Sorry, but, no matter the money they squander on trying to make the Avengers characters equal up to likes of popularity as Spidey, X-Men, Batman (casual, household name popularity speaking), they're not going to make those characters superior mainstream successes.

I just have to shake my head at it, really. I know Quesada isn't EiC anymore, so hopefully soon someone will have the balls to rectify things and salvage what can be salvage. I am simply baffled at why this man single-handily gets away with all these decisions, and they keep trying to forcefeed their changes despite the growing voices of dissection. But really, what happened to the days of telling good stories, and not being afraid to grow the characters and take them to different places?

This One More Day shit is nothing short of mockery upon twenty years of continuity, more or less. And by the description of Carlie. . .I can't help but think of this.

Which, I can only hope a certain Norman Osborn comes along to
        Spoiler:

        Or even better, this

        Spoiler:

God I love Norman Osborn. Making him "sane" and turning him into an Iron Man clone is so LAME. Osborn is to Peter Parker what the Joker is to Batman, after all. He's just a great, remorseless bastard. Sometimes, that's all it takes for an effective villain.

And I do love when they find ways of sneaking in references to his attraction to blondes, specifically a certain panel from his run in Thunderbolts. . . but I can't seem to find the actual panel.

EDIT*Now that I looked Carlie up on the wikipedia, I think I actually remember her from brand new day. All I have to say is, really? Really, Marvel?

Lol. I suppose that panel is the aftermath of this one I came across.

"RESPAWN LOL". . .such a perfect retort after getting literally torn apart limb from limb. Oh Deadpool, you are funny, sir.

But, hey, Norman Osborn is capable of saving Marvel too!

But yeah, Deadpool is amazingly the one cool thing Marvel hasn't screwed up. It's practically a miracle of miracles!

Disney doesn't do reboots, they do sequels 30-50 years later.

Who can forget Cinderella 2, The little mermaid 2, Peter Pan 2, or even Beauty and the Beast 2: Electric Boogaloo?

The Little Mermaid 2: The Shitty Entitled Heroine's Daughter is as Equally Entitled and Bratty.
Beauty and the Beast 2: Characterization Out The Window Plus Tim Curry
Cinderella 2: Here's Some Episodes of the Cinderella Show That Never Was
Lion King 2: Romeo and Juliet with Lions

Yeah...I've seen these. D= To be fair, some of the LK2 music is good as a song or two was recycled from the much longer stage musical.

I couldn't help but laugh at this

                    From Carlie Coopers wikpedia page

When Peter is called out on a mission with the Future Foundation he tells Carlie he is going away on a business trip for his new job at Horizon Labs. Carlie is furious when she finds out that there was no trip. She takes her rage out in the rink which results in her being sent off mid-game for a vicious assault on "Iron Mavis" from the other side. Noticing her bad mood, two of her teammates offer to take her out for a night on the town. After getting drunk, Carlie decides to get a tattoo of the Green Goblin's insignia to spite Peter, knowing his opinion of Norman Osborn (as he had murdered Peter's first girlfriend Gwen Stacy).[20] However, she changes her mind and gets a tattoo of Spider-Man. She is worried that the tattoo will make things awkward between herself and Peter, but he assures her that it is not the case.[1]

Jesus Christ. The girl sounds like she has some severe issues. But funny how it all turns out okay in the end. Pretty lame. Yeah, she's no MJ, Gwen Stacy, Felicia by any stretch. But really, what can you expect when the best creative they have for new Spidey villians are Mr. Negative, Anti-Venom(okay, not a villian), yet another goblin wannbe with Meance. Seriously, these sound like names a third-grader thinks up.

                    Mr. Negative. . . hahahahahahahaha.

                      Bring back Hobgoblin I say!

Now there's a character who should have been in MvC3.

Lion King 1 was just Hamlet. Disney have been ripping off the Bard for years

Exactly. That's why I find LK2 all the more funny, they did the exact same thing.

I certainly wouldn't mind it, but really, when you got the real thing on hand, why bother? The Hobgoblin was created in the first place just so there could be a goblin to antagonize Peter since Norman was, errr. . .dead and all. That, and I suppose they didn't want to go back to Harry. Seriously, there's been too many Goblins. Hobgoblin, Jack-o-Lantern, Menace, and another one I know I'm forgetting. Either way, nothing's better than the original.

Here's the proof. My favorite episode of the Spider-Man TAS. It's incredible how this is the ONLY real adaptation of Gwen Stacy's death. . .and it's an adaptation wihout Gwen Stacy or "killing". Not to mention the fabulous performance by one of my favorite VA's, Neil Ross, as Norman/Goblin. Damn, I know this episode so well, I can recite entire quotes from my memory alone. Though, I'm not sure if that's a good thing, lol.

No, the "Respawn lol" one is from the 2008 Deadpool comics while the one you posted that you said is related is from a older issue (which I have yet to read. I've been too busy to read any lately).
