Just hope they cut that shit out by the weekend Spurs are supposed to be playing Everton. After waiting all this time for the new season I'l be pissed if the first game is postponned.
The sheer lack of perspective here is stunning.
It's basically Britain's worst having found an opportunity to be what they are: cunts.
So much overreaction from people regarding these riots.
In Bootle, where I live to be precise - a post office by my brothers house was getting put on fire and the atm completely ripped out.
Apparently, another in Litherland was getting smashed in by a tractor, and people are posting pictures on Facebook to prove.
There's a group of like 30 going round Bootle. It's getting absolutely ridiculous now. I'm at my boyfriends in North Wales atm, but people are saying they can hear riot sirens and shit like that.
No one, I was talking to Smiley saying I'm not bothered about a free PlayStation. If you're so pro-Sony that you take that as a direct insult, that's your problem.
That is, the ones that eventually led Detroit to no longer be the capital of the state of Michigan because they were so insane. Hope this dies out soon, some of the pictures are just awful. To think of all the innocent bystanders getting their doors and businesses kicked in... this riot is despicable.
Does someone have an article about why exactly the riots started? I want more on this story of the so-called drug dealer who got shot in self-defense. I can't seem to find anything about it on the BBC website. I saw this thread and heard a little bit about the riots on the news, but this video is what piqued my interest in the matter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biJgI...eature=related
I can't help but wonder how much of what this guy said is true.

I got to baton a few last night in Manchester. Twats. No doubt it will be just as bad if not worse tonight.
Damn Stryker, laying down some sweet street justice. It must be done.

Don't have an article but I'm pretty familiar with all the areas in the south that are affected. Have an ex-girlfriend in Ealing, cousins in Bromley/Lewisham, some friends in Peckham, regularly visited Hackney and lived close to Croydon. All the stuff happening in these riots happen day-to-day just on a much smaller scale.. These areas have been ticking time bombs for the last ten years due to the large variety of ethnic groups, poverty and a PC attitude gone mad. They feel they can do whatever they want and get really pissed off when the police (or anyone) question them about absolutely anything (and this could be as simple as "pick up that packet of crisps you just threw on the ground" or "excuse me").
It appears the rioters have no idea why they're doing it either other than to get free stuff (some girl on BBC said it was "the conservatives and rich or whatever"). The people aren't that bad, they just happen to be alive in that area and live on handouts and don't understand the situation.. you have to question why they are there in the first place. I'm lucky enough to of never been on the wrong side of these guys but talking to them you know how casual they can be about violence, "oh I threw a brick at some kids head because he was from another school" seems to be a normal attitude.
I guess its similar to the Brixton and LA riots. Only this time there's not gonna be any cash to go into these underprivileged areas like before as the PC policies are bankrupting the state, so I suspect it will continue to happen on and off for the next few years until the police fight back hard at which point all hell will break loose. The ultra-liberals created this situation and there is no easy fix.
