im guessing that instead of watching horror films they watch things like the passion of the christ.

(Didn't know you were a Christian, Wrathborne! Awesome!)

I wouldn't go as far as to say this is the work of "religious nuts". They're just offering an alternative to Halloween, and that's all it is, an alternative. I didn't read anywhere where they were forcing people to participate, or anything. But, I suppose nowadays when anyone tries to spread the word of God through positive activities, it must be the work of fanatics.. (I wouldn't expect anything less from the Huffington Post, anyway.) Sad, yet exciting times to be living in.

I, myself have never had a problem with Halloween (Costume wearing, candy, scary movies, etc..) and as far as I can tell, neither does the Bible. But if a group of people want to offer an alternative for those not keen on the rituals of Halloween, why not? Besides, we should be celebrating "Jesus-ween" everyday!

If I want candy, and zombies, then you should respect that, and I will do so with your celebrations.
          THIS.

Who cares what those guys do in their free time. They leave me alone, I'll do the same. I see no problem here with them trying to deal with Halloween in their own wacky way.

Freedom of religion in this country allows them to do it. More power to them, tbh. Who is anyone else to tell them what to or not to celebrate?

Creationist doesn't = stupid. Although I know a couple of members don't agree with that.

Only in the case that creationism is proven false, which it hasn't and won't ever be. Your equivocation can also be said for evolutionists, as evolution isn't 100% proven. Shortly put, Both creationism and evolution require a degree of faith.

The only alternative to creationism isn't evolution...

Well, I worded that wrong. What I meant was, there's extremists on both sides. It isn't exclusive to Christians or Muslims.

Unlike creationism though, atheism and agnosticism don't have any belief system or anything else. It's just normal human being common sense, it's how everyone is unless they have been brainwashed from outside influences at a young age (i.e. parents who were also brainwashed at a young age).
