    Don't. Talk. Shit.
It is against the law to murder someone in most countries (save for perhaps Muslim countries, where it's considered "acceptable" to stone people to death). However it is not against the law to shoot someone. I could shoot a mugger who has a knife pointed at me, and it would not be against the law. I can shoot a man who breaks into my house. I can shoot a man who is threatening the life of someone else. I can join the military and shoot a terrorist.

    • Must feel nice to be so ignorant that you honestly believe you can just shoot someone 'cause you have a gun and things around you are getting a bit heated.

Things aren't really as black and white as you apparently seem to think it is. (But I truly envy anyone who's incapable of thinking otherwise)

Technically, according to how the law system works in most places, you still have to actually prove that your life was at risk and that shooting/killing the second party of the conflict was the only viable solution to end the conflict without you being the one who's in the grave (self-defense). Anything else would likely be considered something akin to second degree murder or manslaughter. Heck, given the right circumstanes when it comes to situations such as trespassing and/or theft of property, you might even be looking at first degree murder if you were more or less "inviting" the victim into your home and/or didn't actually make any attempt at either securing things beforehand or establishing proper contact with the victim and communicating your lack of appreciation of their current behavior ... BEFORE you're opening fire at them. Heck, if you were assaulted and "defended" yourself, the very fact that you had the gun might've been what triggered the attack on you in the first place and you were the one who shot someone who desperately acted in self defense the moment they saw a weapon much more terrifying than their own.

      • I'd rather have a gun and not need it, than need one and not have one.

        Also, it's called castle doctrine.

America is the bastion of freedom and modern democracy, we have a lot of freedoms that other people unfortunately lack.

              • Bastion of freedom and democracy?

Might want to read that link I gave you (law data - always good for toilet reading), since it pretty much just recaps exactly what I said in my previous post. Actually, word of advice; before you even reply to anything else in this thread now; read it.

                • I did read it:
                  (2) Such force is used against a person who unlawfully enters, remains after unlawfully entering, or attempts to unlawfully enter a dwelling, residence, or vehicle lawfully occupied by such person
