I'm genuinely shocked to hear about Michael Clarke Duncan's passing. Came as a surprise.
    See you in hell.

His death was definitely shocking and sudden. When I heard news about it, I felt heavy. I'm missing this great actor already...

RIP Alex Karras most folks wont remember him these days for his football career, but it was one little role in Blazing Saddles that made all of us smile when we thought of him.

        RIP Mongo.

RIP Larry Hagman. Ye olden TV actor here in the states, best known for Major Anthony Nelson of "I love Jeannie" and J.R Ewing from the "Dallas" series(all of em).

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Fuck Cancer.

Patrick Moore passed away this afternoon, at the age of 89. A great loss for science and everyone else, too. He will be missed.

What a sad loss. A legend and a gentleman.

I enjoyed watching him on the Sky At Night and of course Gamesmaster.
              "I've got 100 cows."
              "Well I've got 104 friends."

I was deeply saddened to hear about Sir Patrick Moore, he was an inspiration to a lot of young astronomers. He'll be missed. Though on an interesting note, he lived not too far from me. Same town that my brother's in, Selsey in West Sussex. Been there a few times, lovely place.
                  See you in hell.

                      • RIP Charles Durning. American character actor and WW2 veteran.

In pop culture hes most known for voicing Peter Griffins father Francis from 1999-2009 in Family Guy.

I thought that this story he shared from WW2 is something that should be remembered about the man. Even if you dont recognize him its still something that sticks with you.

“I was crossing a field somewhere in Belgium,” he said. “A German soldier ran toward me carrying a bayonet. He couldn’t have been more than 14 or 15. I didn’t see a soldier. I saw a boy. Even though he was coming at me, I couldn’t shoot.”

They grappled, he recounted later — he was stabbed seven or eight times — until finally he grasped a rock and made it a weapon. After killing the youth, he said, he held him in his arms and wept.

Mr. Durning said the memories never left him, even when performing, even when he became, however briefly, someone else.

                        RIP sir.

                            • Robin Sachs, probably best known for playing Ethan in Buffy but also the voice of Zaeed from Mass Effect, Lord Harrowmont in Dragon Age and Ataman in Resident Evil Damnation, died back on the first.

A great shame, he was really talented...I'd never have guessed those characters were the same man. My condolences.
