Can you stat track your bandwidth usage to files on the site? That might explain it. Generally that sort of look means someone is leeching a specific piece of heavy bandwidth, like a video or audio file... probably via a shared link, is being pulled. Why specifically China, I have no idea. But the above reason is usually the cause.
