  • Ye Olden comedy

As of late I've been watching lots of old comedy reels from the 30s to the 50s while I animate my stuff.

Been a blast watching the 3 stooges, the Marx brothers, Abbot and Costello and its been making me really miss the charm they older comedies had.

Was curious what older comedies others on the forum like. I'm unfamiliar with older comedies from across the pond so if you have something. that is a little uncommon please drop a link

I used to watch a lot of I Love Lucy. It's been a California tradition to have that show on TV somewhere...

I never got into Lucy myself, though I've always loved Lucille Ball as she was an amazing comedienne.

My niece is in High school and she tells me that the kids there don't find the 3 stooges funny at all. What do they know. Damn Belieber generation.

I still get a kick at watching Chaplin clips on Youtube. He is the old timey comedy mastah.
