Since we all share some level of disappointment in RE6, I thought this would be a good time to remind us of the glory days of Resident Evil, and what it USED to be. To that end I'm reposting my 2011 fanedit production, RESIDENT EVIL: THE SERIES, on YouTube in its entirety. All three season's worth of episodes covering everything from RE0 to RE5, and most everything in between. Here's my stock description from YouTube:
----------
How would Resident Evil have looked as a TV series? That's the intriguing premise behind this fanedit production. It takes almost all of the videogames and videos available to date [2011 - ed], gameplay captures and the best of efforts by other faneditors (many of them here on YouTube), and combines them all together into a three-season saga that tells the Resident Evil story from start to finish. It's meant for people who have never played the games (and never will), or for those who wanted the "real" story rather than what we've been given in the feature films.
There will be some obvious goofs and gaffes when you watch this - especially if you've played the games before. Impossible map routes, weapons abruptly switching or disappearing for no reasons, character voices changing in mid-episode, etc. This is forced upon us by the different sources. Please keep in mind that this is a "what-if" - a "rough cut," if you will, of how a REAL Resident Evil TV series would look like. We hope you enjoy it, and hope you will share it with your friends.
Full summaries of all three seasons' worth of episodes, as well as extensive production notes, can be downloaded here:

And here's a link to Part 1 of the first episode of the series, "Murder on the Ecliptic Express:"
----------
Let me warn you in advance that this is a TV edit aimed at the average TV viewer, who knows next to nothing about RE save what he or she might have learned from those crappy feature films. I stick mainly to the story, skip a lot of the boring bits (puzzles, excessive action/battles). I do take the occasional dramatic license, but only for the sake of my target audience - the average TV viewer. If you're looking for something along these lines but geared more for the hardcore RE fan, you might want to check out the RE Chronicles Series by HCloudXIII, - which you can also find on YouTube.
It's going to take me a while to reup everything, so please bear with me. Thanks.
