Well, I have beaten the PSX version in my PC, doing the same path I did in my latest run.
Since my PS2 needed to load the scenarios and voice-acting, my run on the PC was faster, and here's what I got:


But also, since my PC is total shit and can't stand recording anything, 1:22:58 is my official time.
Just posting this here to advice people to not give up.

Edit:Take my advice, when you descend to the sewers, ignore the first one on the wall, but don't ignore the second one on the ground, blow the son of a bitch away and avoid it's acidic venom spit !

I just finished my first run.
1:19:58.
I was framing the photo but then the screen changed to the rocket launcher that I unlocked!

I can definitely do quicker. Was a pretty sloppy second half.

Damn i should've made another speedrun, but i couldn't since the final exams will start next week and i had a lot of crap i don't need in my life to study, at least it's my final semester !
Edit: that speedrun was some piece of art alinhoalisson, but why didn't you modify the shotgun or the magnum, it took you a lot of time to kill those enhanced lickers, but the way you dodged those zombies in the lab, man that was hilarious !

I just felt that they were not worthy catching.
There was a speedrun that I've got the upgraded shotgun, I've compared with other speedruns and I've got only 25 seconds of difference, and with almost 15 seconds that I waste going there to get this upgrade, 10 seconds are not worthy.

If you upgrade the magnum and shotgun when they have 0 ammo, the gun is filled. So you're actually getting the gun upgrade + full ammo; so the time it takes to acquire can come of the time it takes you go get an extra pack of ammo for each gun. You can cut the most far-fetched out of your run. As well as the combat time it saves not using the extra rounds.

Yes, both of them reduce firerate, except upgraded shotgun used by Chris witch is extremely fast. Also Crhis uses normal handgun very fast and you can possibly blast zombie head with one handgun bullet.

Also the upgraded weapon makes more damage. Upgraded magnum used on last state G transform is very effective. Only drawback is the recoil.
