  • Using Claire's battle mode outfit in the main story for Code Veronica Dreamcast ver.?

I've seen videos and codes on how to do it for Code Veronica X for the Gamecube and the Playstation 2. However, I haven't found a codebreaker code for it on the original Dreamcast version. Does such a code exist?

Yes, I had an action replay that let me do it back in the day. Code nabbed from net somewhere, no idea where.

I have the code for the Gamecube version because Jay hacked it back in the day, but I never knew the code existed for the Dreamcast version. There were very few codes I could find for the Dreamcast version other than the usual infinite ammo and health codes....

So if this code really does exist for the Dreamcast version, whoever hacked it must have done more different codes aswell?...

I'm still searching for the code but nothing is coming up. Even with hex editing the save, I still can't get it to work. There's got to be someone with the knowledge on how to do it.

I don't know how to model swap. I don't think you can do that with hex editing game saves. That would probably require actual codebreaker codes to do it. I suppose no one tinkers around with Dreamcast codes anymore

Model swap will help you. I write manual "How To.." but it only in Russian, sorry.

Doesn't seem likely in CV, to edit the save that means what costume is worn needs be saved, since Claire never changes the entire game there would be no reason for such data to be saved on the file, no saving in battle mode either hence needing action replay to alter the game as it runs. Hex editing should work on other games with multiple costumes or altered models in a mode that saves though.
