Here is hoping it's turns out to be true nintendo continuing the remake series on there next gen console.
Id also be happy for it to go Multi -platform.

but we get so many re2 remake rumors but still Im ever hopeful since we just had revelations announced , plus it being the 15 years since resident evil 2 came out.

Mikami had absolutely nothing to do with BH2 and didn't even like it. Kamiya doesn't like horror and is happier with action games.

I hope it's true only if it's a rebirth equivalent with fixed cameras, but in real 3d. If it features a modern gameplay, I'm not really interested.

Just to be clear - if this is the real and the now usual 'we've gone mad and now when the car crash Leon leaps out of it, ride the tanker explosion and goomba stomps a zombie to death as he hits mach five coming down while all Cliares clothes are blown off by the explosion' style bullshit, I will piss so hard, from here, that the stream will slice through Capcom Japan, killing hundred.

I don't. Claire's a favorite character, but I'm not a huge fan of mixing horror with pointless fanserivce (Highschool of the Dead melts my brain a little) and it would be frustrating to see Leon soar into orbit as his usual super secret ninja agent self and Claire gets less to wear.

if capcom could do what they did with the remake on the GC then I would have no complaints , but capcom have changed these days just like square-enix they have lost the heart and soul corny as it sounds lol.

Yes if it's meant to be Multi-Platform and like Revelations, I welcome a REmake of RE2 made in the vain of Revelations.

I know they can do it, look back at all the scrapped ideas/concepts and stuff for 3.5 + 4.5 they were going to be more classic and better and since if they were to Remake RE2 they would stay on the same vain or do it Revelations style which is very classic and modern at the same time I mean it appeals for both Classic and Action gamers.

I don't really know how much I feel about this. Unfortunately I believe that if it were announced it would be adapted to the new action style and our classical adventure of horror will be ruined. To be honest, I don't think it's coming but colour me surprised if it is. Kamiya said on his Twitter that Capcom NEED to make RE2make, I can only imagine this is where this rumour even originated but I don't know. I'd want the remake in REmake style, but to be honest, I'd rather a Mother 1-2-3 announcement than this.
