Don't argue with Black Crow, he's just going to get banned for another few weeks for acting like a jerk to other members because it amuses him.
Newsbot DOES sound like hes full of hot air from time to time, but really...the guy knows his stuff and you can't discredit him for knowing it because you don't like his tone.Last edited by Wrathborne; 02-02-2013, 01:42 AM.

I am not arguing, and asking whether someone is telling the truth or not is acting like a jerk? You don't know what you are saying. I would like to know why many of you think this guy knows secret information? I ask about Mikami not being the Re creator, News bot doesn't show me evidence? I don't know why so many believe this guy, if he doesn't show any facts or prove his statements? Use your common sense people.I have received 135,000 infractions at The Horror Is Alive!

Well, I don't always agree with News Bot's stuff (I remember one argument about Ada being definitively good or evil being hinged entirely on a very iffy statement like Ada thinking to herself, 'I am a good person' or something that made me gasp at how thin it was compared to the conviction he stated it with, and I still disagree with him on things like 3.5 being totally unrelated to Haunting Ground) but if you ask he will usually show you how he came to that conclusion. If he can.
So I don't automatically assume News Bot is right. But the times he's wrong are a hell of a lot smaller than most people. Me included.

Originally posted by Black~Crow View PostWell, I read in articles and seen on TV that state it was Mikami's idea. He was influenced by Alone in the Dark, as I recall. And, where is the artlicle or video that says Tokuro Fujiware created Resident Evil?
If it is true, then what role do you think Mikami played in the Resident Evil games? I still think you will say something negative, I know by your own words that you have something against him.
Here's one such bit of proof from Fujiwara himself: http://www.glitterberri.com/develope...kuro-fujiwara/
Mikami was disliked by some on his team because, on top of not doing anything, he actively made things worse even though he was "in charge" of the actual work. He's responsible for the impression of BH1 as some cheap B-movie, but not much else. After BH1, Mikami played absolutely no role in any other game. He was a producer who balanced money. He then came back for BH4, for which he wrote the script. He gets severely miscredited for that game as well. Even the developers acknowledged this:
Ordinary people seem to think Mikami made every BIO game alone.
For example, it's the same as ordinary people not knowing me.
I still disagree with him on things like 3.5 being totally unrelated to Haunting GroundLast edited by News Bot; 02-02-2013, 04:32 AM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

That was an interesting article News bot. O.K, now I BELIEVE what you said about Mikami. I didn't know that Mikami had so little to do with Resident evil! But he did do something to help make the game the way we know it, that is, by giving it a B horror movie feel. But I thought Mikami played a big part in REsident Evil Rebirth? Did Fujiwara work on that game? If you say something that needs some proof, show a link to the video or article. Like I said, I don't believe everything anyone says unless they prove it to me.
Now back to Resident Evil, I didn't know fujiwara was the brains behind Resident Evil. I actually never heard of him, or the other guy you mentioned, but I have played his games like ghouls and ghosts. I wonder how many titles from the Resident Evil series he worked on?
And, by the way, I am ignoring Wrathborne, since he is just looking to start another crap storm. He can go jump in a lake and cool off. I am sick of arguments over stupid things.Last edited by Black~Crow; 02-02-2013, 07:12 PM.I have received 135,000 infractions at The Horror Is Alive!

Originally posted by News Bot View PostI don't really think that to be honest. From a development standpoint, nobody who worked on BH4 worked on Haunting Ground, so there's no relation in terms of assets being reused etc since they were created by entirely different departments. They possibly used the same CAPCOM texture dump or something. However, HG's initial scenario was written by Sugimura, who wrote the Castle version of BH4 featuring a girl and dog. So there's very probably a connection in that, but Sugimura being deceased prevents any confirmation.

Kind of hard to give Koijima credit after MGS4 though NB. As clever as he is, that was...well, you've said it in the past, better than I can. I think Koijima has lost his story sense really. This kind showed in MGS2 I think.
Sad to hear more and more that Mikami is a legend(as in not real). Maybe he can prove you wrong some with Project Zwei?Last edited by Wrathborne; 02-02-2013, 07:19 PM.
