Didnt realize the other thread was closed to be honest. I should have kept posting there anyway, maybe the other staff and I can hold a decent conversation at that point.

Wasn't Elza a placeholder for Annette I've heard? Really interesting shot, the fact that it's in the original Japanese with placeholder models is even more interesting...

Also, what of the other 1.5 thread? I don't mean about resurrecting it because in the end it turned into garbage arguing, but specifically, is it going to fall in the dark depths of The Horror? Or will we be able to relive the tale of our journey for 1.5.... haha. Then again... who's going to go through all 300+ pages. :L

EDIT: I kinda agree with Rick, can't the moderators edit the first post + delete posts about the situation?

Since DarkMoon was being a power hungry asshole, he closed that long ass thread that we've all been reading non-stop for months. What kind of moderator tells all of it's readers that "None of you are allowed nice things again. Ever." - What a piece of shit. Whomever owns these forums should remove all of his privaledges along with a lengthy ban for abusing his power and abusing the people that keep these forums active.

Anyway, assuming that power trip asshole DarkMoon doesn't close this thread, feel free to continue talking about 1.5 here.

Well, yes, but mostly to prove a point - without some management these threads can become nightmares of bickering and stupid shit. Which was why we were going to have a more structured one, but my power madness was, alas, too great. Hence why I totally closed the thread and banned everyone while laughing hysterically.

However, folks, please keep in mind that I will still be watching. Let's at least keep things civil (except to me, for I maaaad with power. Maaaaad I say) towards the other posters, at least. I'm sure we can manage that.

So, we know that Kendo's model was a placeholder for Marvin. And if Elza's was a placeholder for Anette in this build (I didn't know about that until now, where does this information come from?) that means you meet her quite early on in the game I guess. What do you guys think she was doing in the RPD?

EDIT: And why is "Elza-Anette" equipped with the shotgun? So you (or rather the developers) don't mix her up with the "real" Elza? But that doesn't make sense either since as far as I know Leon and Elza never cross paths...mysterious!

Yes, probably Roy. I always assumed that he was too injured and cowardly to be up and walking about though... strange.

Since (walky-talky) radios do not require the building's power to function, I'm guessing that Elza was supposed to have already visited the Radio Room at this point. It's also apparent that she has not yet visited B2 to activate the building's power, unless she did and the Power Room was locked. If the theory that John was found in the Prison is correct, then it's probably the latter.

leon was a placeholder for marvin, chief irons. But if that's the 40% with placeholders roy wouldn't exist.

So I guess this would mean that you have to restore power first (in the power room) before you can use the communications equipment in the radio room. In any case, it's starting to look like the primary objective in the RPD portion of the game is to call for help by radio, before it is switched over to escaping via the sewers.
