These multiple images of the characters, don't look like them. I guess they were trying to see what outfit would work best or each character. If games like Resident Evil, which are more realistic looking, should make it believable too. A female character wearing a skimpy bikini, in the winter, with guns and shooting at zombies is not realistic. Unless she was at a beach or swimming pool in the summer.

Those are just alternate costume, it's supposed be silly, unrealistic crap.

Some of those sketches are... interesting... the one of Leon with the Merchant on his back is really weird. I could imagine playing that within the game, half the screen being blocked by the Merchant sitting on your back.

I'm actually really surprised there's so much criticism for these designs. I think they're great, and I'm super disappointed more of them didn't make it into the game. Sherry's and Ada's are just too good!

I agree. And Leon with the merchant on his back was just awesome. XD It wouldn't have worked in the game, of course... but still.

Those are cool at least. The rest even the ones in the game are pretty bad.

i agree 1000 times. in RE3, jill still gorgeous, but it only makes her more interesting, powefull... these looks like useless and nonsense... at least those artworks didnt make it on retail.

I agree.. RE4, 5 and 6 outfits are a joke!

Remember Jill's RE1 casual with jeans..
Or Claire's Blue Biker outfit with the flames.
Even REZero's outfits were okay. Or Outbreak's for that matter - Cindy's B "vacation" outfit was nice.

Playing as wanna be Red Riding Hood Sheva totally sucked any horror out of a game that had little to begin with

Here's to Revelations port to having Alternate outfits, and that they are decent..
I put it all down to the new director myself.
Only teenage boys with no access to porno would like the outfits from RE6.. and it was an 18 so Capcom had no excuse really did they?

Here's to Revelations port to having Alternate outfits, and that they are decent.

My guess is that they won't be in the campaign, since the characters change costumes multiple times (just like in RE6).

lol when i was a teenager in 2004 i had no acess to internet but when i could use it my real interest was RE3.5.

I quite like the goofy costumes that Capcom brings to Resident Evil, nothing better than wearing funny and awkward outfits whilst killing Zombies or Javo.

Cindy didn't have huge knockers, it was still kind of realistic. Don't get me wrong, I've never gotten offended at things like Dead or Alive Volleyball. I would simply like RE to not be like that.

I get more annoyed than offended. 'Oh hey, we have someone with boobs, we should stick them in a costume that makes them look like a stripper. Because serious, sensible, well trained professional women all want to be dressed like strippers.'

...and as alluded to in a previous post, it isn't such costumes destroy the characters.
