The Service Bay starts differently in each game. Elza's is first, and the door is sealed shut. You apparently need something to open it. Perhaps the Pliers (it should be Wrench) lying on the floor and the unuseable Nut are involved here to fix the door, ala RE3? Your guess is as good as mine. In Leon's game, which appears to happen later, the door is open. Perhaps the lighting difference in Elza's version was added by the time the 80% build was made, from where that still comes - but that's speculation on my part. All that would be needed to make these extra (conjectured) "dark" backgrounds would be to darken the existing ones.
