Has anyone figured out how to extract data from the ISO, yet? Using save states is an awful way to go about it...

Might have been used to generate the in-game maps, not sure. There is one of the hallway where you get a SIG P228 which is a custom room (right?).
I actually saw this when I extracted files from Parasite Eve II. Had overhead camera angles as well but had a green filter over it. I also remember having some RE2/3 images from long ago that had overhead views as well (in a folder called "BH19_Development" or "BH19_C++").

XD That actually seems like a much easier way of extracting stuff than what I've been doing. Well... if the tools work on latest OS versions.
Lots of PSX tools out there don't work beyond Windows XP (probably due to whatever api that was used to do raw reads from discs at the time).

TimView+ does not work for me on Windows XP, Vista, or 7. It's says I can not access the file because I don't have permission. This is after I download and extract timviewp.exe from the archive. Any suggestions?

The blood change thing we argued about changes room to room. it must be a room thing.
Also when you equip the knife with leon its out of the holster. 1.5 has much more interesting and thought of gameplay features

Create folder close to root just in case 8.3 DOS naming convention is breaking it.

E.G. cre15

Extract timviewp.exe to that folder, then copy original BH2.bin there as well
Upon initial launch, it checks to see if .tim files are associated and creates timviewp.ini
(antivirus/malware programs prevent creation of .ini files because they can do serious harm) however this one doesn't, so disable any AV progs resident.

if that all fails, when exactly does the error occur, upon launch of timviewp.exe or upon scanning the bin?

Still isn't working. I tried extracting the folder in the root of my C drive and still gives me the error. The error occurs right at launch.

Is it just me or do Birkin's screams when you hit him sound exactly like the scream in the Thrill Kill soundtrack (about 7 secs in) only mixed differently at the end

Yeah it does, it also seems to be a little longer unless that just has to do with the mixing.

Aww thanks, but it's people like you who make me wish I finished my major in CS. Seriously kids, stay in school, especially college. I just dicked around with Win98se enough to understand DOS. Only helps here in this situation. BTW, this is not my program, it belongs to someone at Lab 313. The source code is available, but in Russian. I may take a stab, but doubtful.
