I would much rather have 3.5 leak out. That would be incredible

As far as I can tell the only differences really between RE0 on GC and the version on the N64 in that video are Rebecca with a beret and the zombies outside the window in the save room. The Rebecca costume with a beret reminds me alot of Jill in RE1 which might have been why they removed it in the GC release after all you don't want characters to look too similar or it might have been for some other reason. The zombies outside the save room are an interesting feature since as far as I can recall there is only one instance of zombies in a save room and that was in RE2 in the room with the valve handle. That room wasn't technically a save room since it didn't have the theme and the zombies were a triggered event and you couldn't actually hear them outside like in the video. Regardless I think the N64 would be interesting especially since I think the look of the older games has a lot of charm. I can't imagine there is much difference between the two versions except maybe different aesthetics since the Gamecube allowed for more sophisticated graphical effects.

More early versions of RE2, 3, CV, Remake and Outbreak would be nice too. We probably have almost everything that is possible to get for RE1 now (I'd say that AI partner one is long gone..). RE3 and CV don't have debug releases yet IIRC, but they must of tested the game so they must exist in some form in the world right now I guessLast edited by Scream; 02-18-2013, 07:17 PM.

As for RE0 on N64, Alinhoalisson and Darkmoon are absolutely right... It's basically just the train segment from the Gamecube version of RE0, but running on an N64.
Think of the game Bart vs The Space Mutants. Why on earth would you play the NES version instead of the Genesis version? I'm sure that there are other analogies that I'm not thinking of as well.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

I remember years ago seeing the CV Beta in a magazine, with the "RE2 Claire" outfit and she was holding the SPAS 12. I never really thought much of it to be honest, but looking back I'd love to obtain that one somehow. Also, I know it's just the train area, but aside from 1.5 RE0 N64 is the next thing I really want to get. I get tired of scouring for information and the video Scream posted on Page 1 is the only real new footage that's emerged.
Edit: The Beta N°2 that Wesker posted is the one I mean. Great to see those shots after so long.Last edited by BiohazardFE; 02-19-2013, 03:36 PM.sigpic

I have the feeling that Da Team will release their RE1.5 editor tool someday. Perhaps it will be able to make a "re-make" of N64's RE0 on PSX format. I would prefer that since N64 is not very friendly to emulation. PSX contrary can run fine in almost every machine post 2006.The longest 15 years of our gamer life :D

Cool if happens, but better don`t build expectations on something that most probably will never happen.
Besides, It`s not the same case with 1.5, wich looks like an entire different game from start to end. RE0 for N64 was the same game but with N64 hardware limitations. Also, I think the only playable part of RE0 N64 was the train and nothing more.

For my RE Ø 64 file in SurvivHor, I have tried to find as many information as possible. I have mostly find sketches for the backgrounds (showing that there were a lot of puzzles using lights in the original game) and they show that the path was the same (between the N64 and the GC game) but that a lot of rooms from the N64 game were redesigned or completely canceled for the GC version. And there was a shooting range designed for the N64 version... ;)
The only main thing that didn't transferred between the 2 games is this monster: http://survivhor.biohazardfrance.net...S/inconnu.html
On one hand, I am not disappointed because it is a complete rip-off of the Alien queen from the movie Aliens; on the other hand, I am still curious about it and wonder if this was the last boss in the train (with the giant scorpio being a mid-boss) or if we had to fight it somewhere else in the game. The thing about this canceled monster is that Capcom took the time to render a 3D model of it, so it isn't a canceled sketch/idea; they went as far as rendering it, so it had an important role in the N64 version.
Interestingly, I found this monster in a Photoshop file distributed by Capcom to the Western journalists, in the early 2000s. The file was made of several layers, each layer hosting one character only (Rebecca, Billy, the scorpio, 2 kinds of zombies); one layer was "turned off" and it was the one hosting this monster. The name of the layer was "D.A.L.I." - not sure if it was the name of the creature or something else.
If we can play the N64 version of RE Ø, maybe we can solve the mystery of this creatureBloodborne: my Facebook page and my Youtube page

D.A.L.I. is the name of one the tracks used in the game, it plays when the Plague Crawlers burst out of their tubes in the water treatment facility, near the end of the game.
Yeah, the unknown monster doesn't look like a Plague Crawler but it may have been one of the many early designs for it, who knows.
