DIE MONSTER! You don't belong in this world!

The last time I heard Chris's VA was in a Time Crisis game a couple years back, played a character named dog or wolf, or some shit like that.

Michael G. Yeah, he's credited in Castlevania as such and Time Crisis, and worked for Konami on Silent Hill (he was Harry Mason) and was supposedly based in Japan. No more info, and given what little we know about Konami's high quality history with it's voice actors - probably next to impossible to find out more. I wonder if some of the hardcore SH fans who tracked people down previously have ever managed it.

Known for: Silent Hill, Red Riding Hood, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

For a while people thought it might be Michael Gough - not be confused with the late British actor Michael Gough, who is a prolific voice actor (including Saddler in RE4) but a) he's US based, and b) you can clearly tell he's not the same voice.

I actually talked to Michael Gough two years ago and he said that he's repeatedly asked imdb to remove his name from the credits of Silent Hill and RE1 but as of then he had never got a response. Really cool guy and a hell of a keyboardist, I always laugh when I hear him as like 40 different characters in Skyrim.

I don't want any answer, I'm just saying his voice acting in SOTN is a joke and is as bad, if not worse, than it is in Resident Evil.

So the Chris who narrates the beginning intro of RE1 also voiced Harry in SH1 DAMN! I can hear the striking similarities in their voices!

Barry gjerde performance in countdown vampires as keith snyder is millions times worse than his performance as barry burton in RE1 ! i just couldn't believe that sissy keith snyder is voiced by the same actor whom voiced barry burton !

Supposedly it was revealed the recording director stepped in to the role of Harry after the original VA took another job. Another VA on the game revealed this. They tracked the director down as Harry Inaba, but the IMDB only states he did directing. I wonder if they just used Michael G as a Joe Bloggs type of deal, as the person never existed.

I dunno. There is still some possible similarity in the voice that tells me anything is possible. But it could have just been listed for the sake of it. Learner would know I expect, but then was Inaba the person she meant?

Well, she mentioned the voice director and that was the name that comes up when you search the voice director for SH1. Someone mentioned it could be another alias, but who knows. The Twitter for Inaba was linked to as well, and in recent Tweets he mentions voice acting and auditions so it seems legitimate. In fact I may try to contact him somehow and put it to rest, they didn't seem to try doing that.

Yeah I saw that. Considering he hasn't used it since 2009 I would be surprised but who knows. Good luck.

Those actors probably shiver at just the words "Resident Evil"
