Pretty sure all the PC fans here know that RE6 is about to be released on Steam with a whole host of addons and extras, it's $39.99 and an undetermined file size. I've been waiting for the PC release since the RE6 announcement a LONG time ago. So, here are the things I need an opinion/answer on...
1: What do you think the file size will be?
I have a pretty limited internet speed, and I would need to know how many gigabytes we're talking here, not necessarily accurate to the kilobyte, but a ballpark figure. It could take a lot of stop and start downloading over the course of a week. Of course, if it's some ridiculously high number I might have to pass on it all together until my internet situation improves.
2: Price vs. Game Quality
I've been hearing a LOT of people saying that this game is absolute crap. I'm not sure how much of it is well founded, or just stemming from the same hate that all RE1-3 diehards reserve for all new RE games. (No offense to the diehards, but there are a lot them around THIA xD) So in your opinion, is the game worth the price or should I wait for the inevitable price drop?
Keep in mind that I'm a pretty frugal gamer, I've almost never bought a title new off the shelf and I dislike steam immensely. Thanks in advance!
