I think Claire would work in a game where she's trapped in an isolated outbreak, or is forced to intervene into an existing one. I just want to see something other than fearless soldiers running into battle.

Do you guys think RE 6 should've had Claire and Jill?

Nope, Claire has nothing to do in a worldwide scale bioterrorism war controlled by the BSAA and the US government because she is not up to that task.
As it was said in RE Degeneration, she chooses to help people, not to fight. And Jill, there is no confirmation about if she returned to the BSAA after RE5 (probably they explain it in RE6 but I don`t reach that part yet, just played first chapter).
I think Claire should be in the next main chapter, as for Jill, we have enough of her with RE5 and Revelations.
I hope next chapter occurs chronologically before RE6.Last edited by Lanzagranadas; 03-25-2013, 01:23 PM.

Im glad they weren't. That game was garbage. Claire needs her own game, and it needs to be a good game.
Either way, if she was in RE6, she would survive with some unrealistic way (as the others did). Likely she fights a zombie the size of the world trade center tower 1 and stabs it in the eye and it dies. Yey.

I wouldn't mind Claire in RE7, but Capcom pretty much shunned her off in Degeneration. I saw it as an excuse TBH so Leon could be lead man as always.
I'm sick of Leon and Chris .. Leon turned into a douche after RE4 - he was OK in Darkside coz he was all RE2 styled.
Jill I like, but she isn't as cool as in RE3 - Revelations was more like her I felt - I discount RE5 from having ever been made as it is horrid.
We need to know what happened to Rebecca, Barry etc - although again, it has been dismissed.
Barry rejoined his family (RE3 Epilogue), while Rebecca DID survive Raccoon City and filed a report on Billy Coen (RE2 EX File on N64) though this is the last we hear from her .. again, like Claire, maybe she just gave up the fight against Umbrella and led a normal civilian life?
I would like relatable characters though, sick of this BSAA super soldier against terrorist thing they have going.. talk about subliminal messaging.
Why can't we have a good old spill or accident - or revenge plot, instead of all the baddies 'purging the world' .. urgh"I never thought any of this stuff my brother taught me would work!"

RE doesn`t need to be realistic but does need to be believable at least. Seriously, having characters that can explode the enemy head with a punch or kick or characters that after receiving a rain of bullets or a direct hit of a rocket launcher only fall in a dying status doesn`t look credible for a game ambiented in a real life context.
If Capcom hear old fans (wishful thinking?) and make the next RE more survival horror oriented, that would be a much better place for a more human character like Claire. I think she deserves one more entry in the main series and an ending to her story.

They need to immediately:
1. Stop with the un human characters. (Chris can knock a 500LBS rock into lava by himself?)
2. Remove the regen heath
3. Stop having enemies drop weapons and ammo
4. NO MORE Co op (Leave the main installments single player! If you want to make an online RE, revive outbreak like we all have asked for!)
5. Revive outbreak (Nuff said) Outbreak did what an online RE should be correctly. The reason it failed was it was released too quick. They did not work out the long load times or bugs.

2: This I agree with.
3: I think that certain enemies should drop ammo, as long as it makes sense. I.e. A cop/soldier would probably drop ammo whether zombied or not.
4: I agree and disagree. They should remove the now obligatory AI partner for the single player experience, but still have co-op for two human players.
5: I never played outbreak, so I can't comment on any of that.sigpic

2- Right, but that just happens in RE6, not a common problem
3- Totally agree, enemies droping items, points or money goes against the essence of the survival experience.
4 & 5- It will be great for many of us, but the problem for Capcom is if the sales goes down.

2. Definitely agreed. RE is not a cover-based shooter and thus does not need regenerating health of any kind. I'm sick of the hand-holding.
3. Only if it makes sense (e.g. soldier enemies dropping ammo, medical enemies dropping health).
4. Absolutely agreed. If they absolutely must have co-op, make it like DS3 where you can still play true single-player without the annoying AI if you want to.
5. I am all for an Outbreak revival, but I doubt Capcom is. They see the side series as a failure.Mass production? Ridiculous!
