It's probably ORC 2 which has my excitement levels at -500.

Apparently at PAX there were supposed to be two announces that would make RE fans happy. Never happened. Let's hope at E3.

Also this can't be ORC2 because RE6 did a lot better than how ORC sold and yet Capcom still deemed RE6 a failure.

Survivor is dead, Outbreak is dead, Gaiden is dead.

What's left? Revelations 2. And maybe the Chronicle series.

Kawata already said that they have no desire to make games like ORC anymore, so it can't be ORC 2.

I predict a multiplayer game just like Outbreak or "Revelations 2".

Oh yes, a sequel to ORC, it will be Operation Rockfort Island, with HCF forces fighting against Rockfort forces and searching for Alexia in the middle of the viral outbreak LOL.

Nah, seriously, it`s just a rumor for now, but the title of the article is almost stupid. Capcom is allways working in a RE title, there is no surprise with that.

Maybe a new Chronicles, with shooterized version chapters of RE4, RE5 and RE6. Oh, damn, but they are already shooters!!!

Okay yea, let's not open that can of worms, at least not yet.

Only 3 things could make me happy at this:

1. Either outbreak or RE2 remake related
2. Be on CURRENT GEN consoles too (I dont wanna upgrade yet. $400+ is ALOT of money...)
3. Be a true horror game and not some "Hur lets call it horror because its got a monster hur" type horror.

According to capcom RE ORC was a "Success" remember?
The reason RE6 was not successful to them, was since it was a numbered entry they expected higher, not to mention RE6 had a larger dev team and was being worked on by Capcom Inhouse, unlike ORC which was made by a small team (Around 100 or less people) and was made by a third party.
Since ORC was a spinoff, its sales were "Successful" in capcoms eyes.
Remember how hyped ORC was before release afterall... Everyone thought it would be the turning point for the series since we would return to Raccoon and see claire and them again, others thought it was gonna be like outbreak.

Sadly those were not true.

Either way, ORC was successful sales wise. I would not at all be surprised if they pull an RE outbreak and make a Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City: File 2 that adds more scenarios and another side of the USS team.

ORC may have bombed in reviews, but it was a financial success. It only sold 2 million copies, but it's budget was a fraction of RE6's. So unless they learned from Outbreak (only one badly made game with a RE logo will sell - sequels won't) I wouldn't rule out ORC 2. Then again, I tend to look on the dark side with Capcom.
