Has it been that long already?

I think the video he keeps trying to reference is the one Dot pulled off the Bio0 trial disk.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I always get this "Woah, look at the time, it's ... I'm old 'o clock" feeling when I dig through the e-mail archive and such.

Ah, that was another of my old discoveries... which I almost forgot about, completely.

I used a H4M executable for the GameCube (*.dol) to produce a single file disc. The executable was obtained from some Zelda compilation disc, and most unfortunately, didn't loop the video; the console had to be reset or powered-off after playback.

Dot was really into video encoding at the time, so this went through *who knows* how many revisions, before it hit the web.

        Memories.

That looked kinda cool. Shame that was not her outfit or look. She looked better in the FMV than actual game.

Exciting times and good ol' creative solutions to problems people didn't know how to tackle back then! Man, I remember how indifferent I'd be to anything you'd do back then. Dot50Cal would always be all "Wooooooooaaaah!" and I'd be all "So what? That's a pretty simple and logical approach to it..." and he'd be all "DUDE, SERIOUSLY! YOU NEVER PULLED THAT OFF!!!" and I'd be all pissy and go "You just never asked me to check, so I never bothered to check it." I'm so glad other people (such as you) have a way better attention span than I could ever dream of having ... not to mention a better motivational drive to pull off things properly, rather than relying on my "OK. I'm just repaying a favor" approach or the "Since you're asking" variant.

Always skeptical towards the efforts and talents of the "new kid on the block" - glad you ended up sticking around long enough to prove me wrong on whatever doubts I may have had in the past regarding the extent of your talent

Hahahaha, we've both done our fair share of pissing on trees. IIRC, our 'fued' began at BioFlames and just went on a roller coaster ride, throughout the years ...you've had many good challenges for me. Either way, nothing personal (if I ever got to be too asshole-ish). ;)

Anyhow, most everything I 'did' or 'found' back in those days was out of pure boredom, also, helped me defeat various addictions. Of course, the positive attention helped a lot. Funny thing to me now that I look back and reflect, you're absolutely right - everything was pretty basic. I used to think I was hot sauce, extracting textures and shit. So much time wasted.

The many people I've met online, the knowledge I've picked up along the way, unique situations I've encountered... definitely makes for a fun hobby. Since BioFlames, 'lost' prototypes have been found and torn apart, professional/amatuer modders are spread out here an there, many file types have been documented thanks to several people... in general, a completely different situation compared to when I first arrived onto the scene. Good God, time.

Were there ever any known big differences in the storyline or locations?

Claire redfeild shows up and drives a fire dragon through a wall and saves billy, and rebecca gets smashed by the wall and dies in the explosion.
