CAPCOM will always remain more than just a name for me. From Mega Man to Viewtiful Joe. From BioHazard to Street Fighter II. From Gargoyle's Quest to LED Storm. From Final Fight to Devil May Cry...
That very company doesn't exist anymore...only in name...unfortunately...

DMC 4 was quite a good game in my opinion, yes. Never tried reboot since I did quit current-gen gaming by then.
*sigh* imagine CAPCOM falling away. That is to me almost like a Nintendo falling away. This is more than just "stuff" falling away, this is a part of my childhood and more.

Sigh.
destructoid sums it all up, perfectly:
As this generation went on, Capcom progressively got dumber and dumber. The shortest way I can word it is that Capcom started making games they thought their audience wanted instead of making games their audiences actually wanted.

And I disliked both games, never wanted a reboot, and prefer the original series. There are many people who disagree, or agree to a degree, or agree completely. This still isn't an objective view.Last edited by News Bot; 10-06-2013, 06:59 AM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I think DmC was a decent game. Not great but not bad. To me it was a step in the wrong direction. A reboot was not needed, but it could have been a direct sequel with improved graphics, AI, and a more in depth combat system.
