I just pray it doesn't have any car chase turret parts like in re5 re6 and revelations I HATE TURRETS !!!
I swear Claire better be in this and I want her steroid abused brother as far away from this game as possible , It just not a scary game being the typical American muscle man in a horror game with shit loads of guns, they need to simplify things with this game and if claire is the star they could make it more about survival because she's not with bsaa so she wont have access to shit loads of weapons , because the way things are going with the resident evil franchise capcom might as well add Alice to the games ( shivers).

Idk, not saying RE6 is a good or bad game, I mean RE7 should take its time, moreover if they are going to innovate, revive the survival roots, change gameplay style, introduce new mechanics and whatever they plan to do to make the franchise great again, those things need a lot of planning and testings.

Maybe Capcom should sell the IP to Quantic Dream and turn the next RE game into a collection of quick time events, no? Ok didn't think so either.
But here's a list of things *waves a piece of paper in the air* that they should not do to improve the next RE:
- Don't make it in a broad daylight (ala RE5)
- Don't add arcade vehicle chase sequences (ala RE6)
- Don't turn a main guy into James Bond (ala RE4)
- Don't force AI co-op (ala RE5&6)
- Don't resurrect main villains (ala Wesker's baaack bitches!)
- Don't set it in space (ala Dino Crisis 3)
- Don't make me laugh (ala RE6's "good job!/thumbs up" system)

Hopefully RE7 will conclude the story of Leon and Ada, but it will most likely star Jake considering RE6 ending.
To be honest, I just want RE7 to be a bit like Leon's story with zombies and dark atmosphere. They should Just improve the gameplay and ditch the scripted events and that should be just fine.

Hopefully Capcom will take their time and think about what the fans would want, although that's unlikely. Their issue is that they're really trying hard to give a Resident Evil title that would supposedly appeal to 'western audiences', as action shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield dominate the market.
With what I'd call a 'zombie-craze' at the moment, with shows and games such as the Walking Dead and the various games that follow, the Last of Us (Well, technically not zombies) and even the Call of Duty Zombie Mode - zombies are very popular. While it could be argued that they always have been, these latest shows and games have brought more fans to the genre. With that being said, I don't understand why Capcom wouldn't want to cash in here and bring back the zombies.
It could also be agreed that horror games are quite popular too - especially over the past couple of years. Games such as Slender, Amnesia and more recently Outlast have created a large fanbase. While Resident Evil has always focused more on survival then actual scares, there are some creepy moments within the series, with some of the environments and background tracks enhancing the creepiness.
Putting two and two together, scares with zombies, would create a satisfying game for the fans, perhaps even going back on the series' routes.
As for Co-Op, while most games are expected to have this, having two players in Resident Evil simply kills the mood. How are you supposed to feel isolated, trapped and afraid when you know your teammate has your back, and you have theirs?
