  • There were different voice actors in 1.5 and 2.

I remember people arguing about this and since Kamiya actually answers tons of questions every day (even if the answer is one word) I decided to ask him:

    "神谷英樹 Hideki Kamiya ‏@PG_kamiya 13s
No. RT @citchmook: Question you'll prob hate... but were the voice actors the same for 1.5 and 2?"

    Discuss or something.

Kind of figured, but nice for some sort of confirmation. Thanks.

You should probably ask if the voice work for the game was ever completed and if they were ever implemented. While they apparently kept on changing story details, much of the cutscene dialogue seems to be composed of standard fare "omg. monsters. must run away!" lines.

We already kinda concluded this, but its good to see real confirmation on it.
I kinda do wonder who voiced Elza and Sherry in the trailer.

Yeah, and you'll probably get more answers over a larger amount of time than daily "harassing" the man every day of the week...

                Well, Duh!
Anyone could figure that out just by noticing Sherry didn't had her angelical little girl voice.

Sherry sounded more like a boy in 1.5.

I thought this was already determined? Voice actors for 1.5 were different of course. They were recorded in Japan, like the first game. And unfortunately nothing was known about the voice providers, again like the first game. It wasn't until they decided to redo RE2 when they made the decision to start doing voice recordings in Canada.

Not every girl sounds as cutesy as RE2 Sherry. She just sounds boyish by comparison.

I like sherry 1.5 voice more. Sounds more realistic. She sounds alittle too girly for her age in retail. Shes before the beginning of puberty right?
