This originated over at NeoGAF I believe. Some user claims that the italian OXM (official xbox magazine) apparently has a small article that mentioned Capcom was rebooting the Dino Crisis franchise and that they would be announcing it later in the year. Granted I haven't seen a scan of the magazine yet or a translation, I also haven't seen anything that dis-confirms it either.

Really though, with the fourth Jurassic Park movie coming out next year, it would be a very smart move by Capcom to bring the franchise back and would just make a lot of sense. I'm excited to see what they'd do with it honestly. I guess only time will tell though.

Regina should be the star again if they are making a new one.
But I just know if they reboot it the game will have your typical male white lead voiced by troy baker more then likely. very dull.

I wonder if Regina will come back or not? They could still reboot the story and still have her be present. I'm wondering if Stephanie Morgenstern would come back to play her or not though? She hasn't been in anything since 2008-2009 according to IMDB, so I doubt it. I don't really want to see anyone else playing Regina though.

A pipe dream of mine is to have the reboot play like RE5 but with Dino Crisis 2's point/combo system (similar to Mercenaries). Both DC2 and RE5's Mercs are addicting already, so combing both would just be absolutely fantastic to me.

I think they should remake DC1 and then starts the series again from there, ignoring DC2 and 3. The first DC was an amazing survival horror experience with nice puzzles, backtracking, scary moments and several alternative path choices, but DC2 seemed more like an arcade -kill for points- linear shooter, and DC3 should have never existed.

But it´s not going to happen, Survival horror and dinosaurs aren´t common words in these days.

Absolutely classic scaly dinosaurs. Fuck feathers. I understand it may be scientifically accurate but it's a video game, so it doesn't have to be. Not like the games are accurate to begin with going by how many different dinosaurs from different time periods were living together at the same time in DC2.

tl;dr: I don't want my T-Rex looking like a turkey.
