Is it time for a Resident Evil Archives 3?

the announcement of the Bio Archives Jill + Chris's file got me thinking, that perhaps its time we have a book 3 for the Resident Evil Archives now

Here's a recap on what the previous books covered:

Archives 1
RE0, RE1, RE2, RE3, Code Veronica

Archives 2
RE4, RE5, Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles, Degeneration


So if there's a Archives 3, here are the stuffs that I have in mind at the moment that I think they should cover:

RE Revelations, RE6, RE Damnation, Jessica's Report, Jill + Chris's Files

Archives 1 covers 5 games, while Archives 2 cover 4 games and 1 movie. It might seems a little lacking that Archives 3 will only include 2 games , a movie and 2 supplementary reports. However, RE6 has a much bigger plot materials compared to the rest of the titles. Perhaps they can also include some exclusive stuffs like the current status of the rest of the characters (Claire, Barry, Rebecca, Hunk etc) and they have been up to since the last appearance .

Is it too early for an Archives 3, or should Capcom release at least 1 more canonical game first and then include them into a Archives 3?

Yeah, Dracarys is right, two more games should suffice. Let's say a Revelations sequel and RE7.

Archives isn't as exciting when you realize most of the written content is just copy and pasted from the Japanese guidebooks. The rest is just abridged to the point of being worthless, since it can all be found in-game. Archives II is very guilty of the latter. Too much focus on pointless summaries than actual new content.

Plus since Bio5, Capcom have severely limited the amount of supplemental material with each subsequent title. Revelations has nothing much beyond Jessica's Report, Damnation has nothing and 6 has nothing, barring the extended files. The Japanese books for all of these are bare-bones for story related anecdotes which is a shame compared to the volume of material found in the books for the earlier titles.
