News_Bot is the pretty much the RE archivist,translator, and Database here. He may be a bit of a dick, but its hard to argue with him about what is, and isn't cannon, as he spends his time translating stuff thats never been translated outside of Japan for the west.

Personality aside, he's always sharing information about what hes translating, or re-translating with the community, keeps us up to date with any rumors that might have any merit, and generally keeps tabs on anything RE from Japan that anyone from the West doesn't know about.

Not to mention, news bot has access to the very people who worked on the games, prototypes and betas included. If any of this was remotely true, he would've told us by now. Is he blunt? Yes, but his knowledge is unquestionable.

By the way, as far as the Resident Evil franchise is concerned, I've only seen News Bot err once (and believe me, I keep my eyes open around these parts). After he was respectfully shown that the Drain Deimos can indeed spit acid/poison, he promptly conceded his mistake without a fuss and carried on about his business.

Ada was not featured in any version of BIO4.

Well, OfficerRedfield, like I said earlier, it's up to people to believe it or not, I'm not trying to impose to people what I know and believe, for the contrary, for me if I believe or know something, is enough. I've already done my part sharing information. I really believe if you or News Bot think I'm lying, you should prove me I'm wrong instead of acting like that. I concur with NewsBot. Yasuhisa Kawamura -scenario writer for 3 and a some of the iterations of 3.5- has already explained what was the deal with 3.5 to us. We have conducted a couple of interviews with him. You're welcomed to give them a read: Here and here.

3.5 was a straight line from RE0 and remake, high quality environment, music, graphics, rich story. Just what Capcom failed to deliver in these 9 years.
